> 3 dayWell I have 2 of these but now wish Id just went with a regular window feed panel, would have been cheaper and would have worked better. This worked great until recently where I notice my swr shooting up high on vhf/uhf. Bypassed this window feed line and went straight to the radio and the issue disappeared. Weve had several strong thunder storms over the last couple of weeks so Im guessing some moisture must have gotten into the connector on the outside side. Maybe I should have wrapped it in plastic wrap or something but I guess I figured it was built to be outside so never really thought it needed it. If they didnt cost $55 each I would have just considered it my own fault for now weatherproofing it but at this price these things should be bullet proof out of the box.

Greater than one weekI got my ham license (WB8ERT) on April 30, 2021 and as a renter (apartment) contacted the landlord about putting up an antenna. I promised to restore any and all modification, but the answer was no. This connector allows me to keep outdoors (on my air conditioner) my antenna (Nagoya UT-72 Super Loading Coil 19-Inch Magnetic Mount (Heavy Duty) VHF/UHF (144/430Mhz) Antenna PL-259), which I also purchased here on Amazon.com. Please note I rated this antenna a 5 star in my Amazon.com review. My radio is an handheld unit (AnyTone AT-D878UVII Plus). The connection from the radio uses all Amazon.com purchased wiring. Radio -> Superbat RF Coax SMA Male to UHF Female SO-239 Cable + 2pcs SMA Adapter SMA UHF Female SO239 Adapter -> RG58 Coaxial Cable 49.2ft,UHF PL259 Male to Male Cable 50 Ohm Low Loss -> To this unit -TC-50M CTC50M CTC 50M CTC/50M Original Comet Window Feed-Thru Jumper -> Finally to the antenna (see above). Thus far for UHF, VHF, and DMR Ive not had any problems with any purchases from Amazon.com ham gear. I can highly recommend this connector to those whose landlords dont want any modification even with a promise to restore to original condition.

> 3 dayInstallation of the window feed-thru was easy. Care was taken to protect the wire even more using additional padding. Before I connected the radio and transmitted - I wanted to check the VSWR. I connected a MFJ-266 HF/VHF/UHF antenna analyzer to the jumper which was connected to the antenna coax cable. Everything checked out - no surprises. I will order again.

> 3 dayWindows in our leased house are the swing-out variety, so the usual slide-window pass-throughs dont fit. I eventually bought three of these, one for HF, one for VHF and one for UHF. Insertion loss is better than I expected, and SWR is acceptable in all three bands. The only downside is that being as thin as they are theyre not the sturdiest. Best used in locations where you can put them in and then dont open/close the windows a lot.

30-03-2025I am a new ham and was trying to figure out a way to run coax without drilling a hole. Saw this. A little expensive guy well made and works! Very happy. So far it is holding up very well. Access thru upper balcony door.
