> 3 dayWell I have 2 of these but now wish Id just went with a regular window feed panel, would have been cheaper and would have worked better. This worked great until recently where I notice my swr shooting up high on vhf/uhf. Bypassed this window feed line and went straight to the radio and the issue disappeared. Weve had several strong thunder storms over the last couple of weeks so Im guessing some moisture must have gotten into the connector on the outside side. Maybe I should have wrapped it in plastic wrap or something but I guess I figured it was built to be outside so never really thought it needed it. If they didnt cost $55 each I would have just considered it my own fault for now weatherproofing it but at this price these things should be bullet proof out of the box.

> 3 dayI love the idea of this type of jumper. It is thin so you can smash it in the window and it will still work. The idea being that you dont need to drill holes in your house to run an antenna cable in. I use this for connecting a HAM radio in to my basement office. Im not a big fan of drilling holes in my house to get cables installed and connected, which is why I installed conduit in the walls of my house for everything that I could consider at the time the house was built. I obviously didnt consider getting in to HAM radio, so I didnt put any conduit to that side of the house. This jumper allowed me to get an antenna cable in to the house without needing to drill a hole. It has been installed in the window now for a couple of months, during fairly cold weather. I have not noticed and leakage from the window where it is installed. One thing that I have not yet tried is to put the screen back in place. I am not sure if the screen will have enough force to push the cable out of the way, or if it will just bend the screen. But, I will probably find out when it gets a little warmer. Overall, I am happy with this jumper, but I deducted one star because these jumpers seems insanely expensive for what they are.

> 3 dayBought to run non amplified loads, works fantastic for HF/VHF. Given the cost of good connectors is about $20 for a pair, and some cable to put between them and a nice chassis for each end, its not hard to price out and justify the overall price. Pros: Easy to install Little modification to pre-existing structures, maybe some screw holes or use double sided tape for mounting. Pretty good construction Works great for window use, my installation closes nice and easy, still seals well with it installed. (modern double pane vinyl) Cons: Not super heavy duty, not designed for high watt/amp use. Other thoughts: Not going to work with storm windows that you want to close. They are a good stop gap to get you on the air until you get a amp and run actual feed lines from your ham shack.

> 3 dayMy second one. It works great. No problem making the connection to my other coax through a window and a storm window! Sturdy and great quality. Way better than the plastic window pass thrus I have that created horrible cold drafts in winter and a cheaper solution!

> 3 dayIf you follow the directions and treat it like a cable you just spent > $50 on, youll be fine. Being a Chinese copy of the Diamond part doesnt seem to make a difference quality-wise but I only bought one.
