> 3 dayI bought one of these at meijer 3 years ago. I mistreated it but it always bounced back for me. It finally cracked after I dropped it after having it in the freezer to freeze a smoothie I had. I didnt hesitate to look for the exact same one. When Im not using it for shakes or drinks I use it for just water without the ball. It is the best shaker Ive had.

> 3 dayContigo Shake & Go Fit Snap Lid Shaker Bottle, 28 oz, Black The description threw me off originally. I was understanding this as the entire lid snapped into place. Upon receiving the item I discovered that the entire lid screwed on and the drinking/pouring spout snapped into place. This made me happy as Im sure you can imagine my questioning of a snap on top with canister for shaking things up with. That said, the lid screws on very securely, and the drinking/pour spout snaps into place securely as well. The inside of the container has no corners, rather just rounded edges. This definitely does help mix powders easier as they dont get stuck or collect in any corners. The little ball also helps break down thicker powders. Keeping it in the container also doesnt hinder the user from drinking. My only gripe is with the SKU sticker at the bottom of the unit. Not sure what kind of adhesive is being used, buy my gosh is it strong! That aside, this shaker is pretty good.

Greater than one weekSo much better at mixing than my more expensive shaker bottle. The round internals dont collect the mix. I ordered three and have only used one so far. No leaks. Nice sized drinking opening too. Not too big and not too small. Im pleased with it

> 3 dayLook no more, this is the king of shakers. As a long time user of Smartshakes and other brands, I can tell right out the box this is superior quality and build. It mixes very well and easy to clean. Superb! And the price is nuts, very happy with this purchase. UPDATE: After a few days, see the image that says shake. I believe that is the best shake motion to avoid any serious harm to the bottom, I understand a lot of force its needed to break it but it is true that the ball is heavy but perhaps this suggestion seems to avoid any direct contact with the ball and the bottom of the shaker.

> 3 dayContigo products seem to be sturdy and generally well thought-out, and this bottle seemed (at first) to be no exception. A shaker bottle is a shaker bottle, but this one stepped above the crowd with a smoothly contoured bottom interior that prevented protein powder from getting caked into the corner. Good stuff. But then I went to drink from it, and the little flanged ball Contigo uses as an agitator gets stuck in the drinking spout! Its just the right size to fit right into the interior of the spout and stop up most of the flow of liquid. You have to stop drinking and wait for the ball to settle to the bottom, then drink again until it gets stuck in the spout, then repeat. Other brands use a ball made out of steel wire, or a big spikey plastic jack-shaped agitator. Its a simple enough fix, but I was surprised Contigo went to such lengths to engineer some parts of the bottle, then goofed on the agitator. I threw out the Contigo plastic ball and used the wire mesh ball from my previous shaker bottle. Works great. But minus two stars for a goofy design.

Greater than one weekDefinitely my favorite bottle for its simplicity, durability and price. I paid 6 dollars for both of mine which I believe to be worth while. Ive brought them with me on flights and they do fine being crammed under seats or going through security so Im pleased with that since I travel a lot. They also do great on hikes with a carabiner clip attached to a bag and even being dropped on dirt or cement from a variety of heights (since Im a bit clumsy) Measurements on the side in ounces and mL helps track water consumption which I also like. Shaker ball works as it should! Overall super happy with the product! Only reason I bought this over the twist cap was the price and the fact that I can open this lid with one hand and dont think I could do the same with that one.

> 3 dayLove these shaker bottles. We used to have all blender bottles but the lids kept breaking around the threads. These Contigo bottles have a much more durable design. You can tighten down the lid without feeling like it might crack the plastic. Also the mouth opening is much better; easier to open and close while still staying sealed. Plus it’s more comfortable to drink from having more rounded edges. In addition the the mixer ball is not only effective but it doesn’t get tangled up in the kitchen drawer like those spring whisk ball things. All around this product is our favorite of its kind.

> 3 dayIve loved these for years. They work excellently. They are sturdy. They never leak. I havent experienced any cracking even though I sometimes bash the bottle along the countertop edge to break up stubborn clumps of powder inside. We use them for Soylent, and they are the perfect size to make ⅓ of a bag of powder with 20 fl oz water. (We keep our fridge stocked with chilled water in reused 20 oz Gatorade bottles for this purpose.)

> 3 dayShaker bottles are good but I think the brand Blender Bottle is much better. The construction of Contigo is ok. They do not leak, but whoever engineered the bottom design is very poor! being that it is recessed using it in the dishwasher, dirty water lays on the bottom while upside down. As you can see in the picture, blender bottle is on the right which has a flat bottom which is much more friendly for use in the dishwasher. Bought these because they were on sale, but I would not recommend nor would I ever buy again.

> 3 dayPerfect for on the go people. I take mine on hikes to have a way to mix a protein drink. The ball does make quite a lot of noise in the jug (even filled with water) so I keep the ball separate in my day pack until Im ready to mix my drink. The lid can be tightened so there is no loss of liquid even if you happen to drop it. The flip lid is just as sturdy. In fact, it can be on the tough side to flip open. I have 4 or 5 of these now and there are several lids that I really have to work at to open the flip open portion. But thats not a bad thing at all. Ive hiked with these quite a while and I wouldnt think of taking a different jug with me on my day hikes.
