Contigo Shake & Go Fit Shaker Bottle, 28 oz., Carolina Blue, Snap Lid

I purchased the one with the black top because it was the cheapest. I was pleasantly surprised because this is a very nice mixing bottle. The cap screws on and off easily and you can give it a spin and it turns freely. The lid snaps in with a pop and I have not experienced any leaking. I use it three times a day. The top opens with a little resistance and is not hard to use. As Arnold might say, only a girly man would complain about this top. My wife who has very strong hands can flip it open with the back of her thumb. The bottle is large enough to leave an air space which helps with the shaking. A good shake leaves no residue. Try some vanilla protein whey powder with goat milk and a couple of liberal shakes of cumin powder. Very delicious. Keep it shaking.

Ive tried several of these shaker bottles and the Contigo Shake and Go is the best for a couple of reasons. 1) The lid is easy to seal and then unscrew. It seals tightly and nothing leaks when secure. 2) The ball inside is HEAVY and really effective in breaking up any powder inside....almost like mixing it with a spoon or fork. Some of the shaker bottles come with lighter inserts that arent as effective. 3) The rounded bottom of the bottle prevents powdered stuff to get stuck in the corner and not mixed. Its also easier to clean with a bottle brush. One warning, the cap over the opening on top clicks TWICE. Make sure you close it securely, I have a feeling the people who complain that it leaks dont push down the mouth of the bottle all the way.

Ive loved these for years. They work excellently. They are sturdy. They never leak. I havent experienced any cracking even though I sometimes bash the bottle along the countertop edge to break up stubborn clumps of powder inside. We use them for Soylent, and they are the perfect size to make ⅓ of a bag of powder with 20 fl oz water. (We keep our fridge stocked with chilled water in reused 20 oz Gatorade bottles for this purpose.)

These are no longer made by Contigo and I dont like the newer designs. So I was happy to find these still in stock. I had to replace one that I had for a few years. The lid on that one finally gave up the ghost, after repeated use and abuse. So get yours before they run out!

This product i do love and it mixes my protein shakes perfectly. its absolutely easy to clean. But the lid pop up does not snap into place, meaning if this tips its spilling everywhere. It works great for my needs but i wouldnt use this for any travel or high activity. And make sure you hold the flap down BEFORE shaking it up. or it will spill all over the place.

I dont buy shaker bottles. I wait for people to give them to me for free with something because they usually end up splitting at the bottom and leaking. I used points to order this. Whats better than the rest: 1. Nice wide mouth. I use cottage cheese in my shakes. This is perfect. 2. The bottom of the plastic version is rounded for easy cleaning. Every Blender Bottle Ive used kept disgusting whey bits in the corners. 3. The volume measurement on the side is actually readable, unlike the Blender Bottles Ive used. 4. Holds slightly more than my old Blender Bottle.

I got the shaker bottle over a year ago. Its the one with the snap lid that has the clip. I use it every day. The lid leaks some, like I dont leave it in a back pack, but it works well enough and when I mix my g fuel or protein shake in it I hold the lid down as I shake and nothing comes out. The leaking really isnt bad it leaks maybe 1ml every five minutes if its stored upside down. Its not a rubber gasket seal but you wont run out of water on your day hike. I use this one more than any other because of the clip on the lid. I hook it to a belt loop or on my back pack. Its convenient an hands free carry. Another feature I really enjoy is the rounded bottom, it is easier to clean and I dont get powder stuck in any corners.

Wanted something that would hold dry creatine powder so that I could mix it with ice water after my workout. Was surprised at how sturdy and thick the bottle is. The entire bottom container that holds dry powder can come completely off to clean. I discovered Contigo at TJMaxx and have become a big fan!

I have owned many Contigo shaker bottles and will continue to because they are the best I have found. This however does not live up to the name. It leaks when you shake it, and if a shaker bottle has one job, it is to not leak when shaken. Makes it unusable. Not sure if this is a real Contigo or somehow a knockoff, but it fails the shake test.

Like that it comes with a plastic ball instead of steel so you dont have to worry about a mental taste in make drinks.
