Contigo Shake & Go Fit Shaker Bottle, 28 oz., Carolina Blue, Snap Lid

Contigo products seem to be sturdy and generally well thought-out, and this bottle seemed (at first) to be no exception. A shaker bottle is a shaker bottle, but this one stepped above the crowd with a smoothly contoured bottom interior that prevented protein powder from getting caked into the corner. Good stuff. But then I went to drink from it, and the little flanged ball Contigo uses as an agitator gets stuck in the drinking spout! Its just the right size to fit right into the interior of the spout and stop up most of the flow of liquid. You have to stop drinking and wait for the ball to settle to the bottom, then drink again until it gets stuck in the spout, then repeat. Other brands use a ball made out of steel wire, or a big spikey plastic jack-shaped agitator. Its a simple enough fix, but I was surprised Contigo went to such lengths to engineer some parts of the bottle, then goofed on the agitator. I threw out the Contigo plastic ball and used the wire mesh ball from my previous shaker bottle. Works great. But minus two stars for a goofy design.

I bought this product as it didnt have the wire ball. The plastic ball is just as effective at mixing and is much quieter. The inside of the shaker is rounded on the bottom which makes this super easy to clean. Great deal.

My sig other bought me a Contigo shaker at a health food store and I was so impressed by that shaker that I got this one. This is a quality product that Id recommend to others. Ive been working out for nearly ten years, and had plenty of shakers, from the ones you get free with 6lbs of whey to those with inserts for ice and infusers. Id purchase this one again. Solid construction, water tight and unlike other shakers, the cap secures with a screw top, rather than a snap. I also like the plastic mixer ball rather than the metal one - dunno just my preference. My suggestion is to go with the clear bottle. It may not look as cool but lets you measure water and mix better (i.e., no holding the smoky or colored bottles against the light). Also what do you have to hide? Everyone knows why youre at the gym and what a shaker is for...

These are no longer made by Contigo and I dont like the newer designs. So I was happy to find these still in stock. I had to replace one that I had for a few years. The lid on that one finally gave up the ghost, after repeated use and abuse. So get yours before they run out!

Im a straight up person this Contigo shaker has no leaks100%. I wasnt going to buy because of the comments but iv notes people are just picky on every detail.100%

I bought this for a water bottle because the large mouth makes it easy to clean. I was pleasantly surprised that the oversized flip cap makes it easy to open and close for my arthritic hands. The large handle on the lid makes it easy to remove. I recommend this if you have hand or finger issues. I like it so much I bought another one.

It works just like it should, I do with the top mouth price was sealable instead of just a flip cap but overall not bad.

Love this! I have have an aversion to metal and I could only find a bottle with a metal mixer ball in it so I was thrilled to find one with a plastic ball AND this was so reasonably priced. The shaker originally came with a slight crack in the bottle - not sure if it was from being shipped or what, but as soon as I requested a replacement, it was shipped within HOURS and I am back in business with my protein shakes! The bottle is super thick and well made - no chintzy product here!!

Needed a new shaker and went to my local store and they all cost well above $12. I saw this product online and decided to buy it. I figured, for this price, even if it doesnt last too long, what will I really lose? Let me tell you, this Bottle is great; no leaks, mixes my protein well, and its super durable! I dropped it on hard tile floor and not even a scratch. Great bang for your buck!

My last large shaker of over 8 years died and I wanted to replace with with something which look like it will give me the same loyalty. After using this shaker a few weeks now, I feel its sturdy enough to do that. It mixes really well- good consistency (uniformity of mix) and is easy to clean. I like the twist-to-lock cap as I prep my mixture from home and carry it upside-down in my backpack (I put it in the outside carrying pouch and carrying it upside-down with the larger part- the top, keeps it from falling out).
