Im a short woman, about 53, and fairly normal in terms of body shape; I needed a knapsack type bag to carry my 17.3 Dell laptop, instead of a side-slung messenger type bag, since I had been ill recently and my family/friends advised me that it would be better for me. I also didnt want a large backpack, since Ive seen a couple of my colleagues carry backpacks that look like theyre going to hike for a month. I like this backpack because its very slim in comparison to theirs, yet it has so many pockets and inner spaces that can be used. It has pockets that can be used to hide the short handles, and the long strap is also there if you need to carry it as a messenger-type bag. I have not used the long strap at all, because using it as a backpack is so comfortable for me, once I had adjusted those straps to my comfort. I only use the short handles to carry it for very short distances. I really like it because it can be stuffed into overhead compartments in buses/planes very easily because its relatively slim. I like the canvas-type material; it seems sturdy and hides any dust/dirt, although I plan to wash it now and again. My laptop fits in it PERFECTLY. Anything bigger than a 17.3 Dell Inspiron is going to be problematic. I have a wireless mouse, and I leave in the little USB thingy that communicates with the mouse. It still fits in there as long as I slide in the laptop very carefully. Once my colleagues see it, they really like it. However, they tend to carry nearly everything in their laptop bags, while I reserve mine for the laptop and its accessories, a few books and some other small things.

Not as good as I hoped

Pretty good all around laptop bag. Two main sections, one with a padded laptop sleeve and space for a book or tablet; the other section has pockets for peripherals or a power cable. Large outside pocket too. you can use this as a backpack if youd like, but if, like me, you use it as a messenger bag, the backpack straps are easily hidable. Strap mounts are reinforced and so I dont have a concern for its medium-term durability. If anything, the only problem is with the second sleeve, once you have irregularly shaped objects in the pockets such as a laptop charger or mouse it is a little difficult to get too much else stuffed into that side of the bag.

Good design

Wife bought this for me cause my old laptop backpack is beat up. Ive had this bag for a week - seems very well made, and fits my 17 laptop perfectly. Plenty of pockets and such as well. Being able to hide the backpack straps is clever as well. Also have gotten many compliments on its appearance. 10/10 would buy again.

What I look for in a working case is storage comfort and style. This is pretty close to excellent. There are more expensive convertible cases but this one is right on the money for what it can do and its versatility. Normally I carry it as a shoulder bag. Recently I got to use the backpack functions and it worked great, lots of padding in the straps which was great for all the extra weight I was carrying. I ended up walking for the better part of 6 hours with this bag in backpack mode and even with all my electronics it was comfortable. I am missing some pockets that can lock stuff down either by zipper or velcro. Otherwise a great bag.

Great product, very versatile.

I brought this bag because I like how it can convert from a carry bag to a backpack. When I bike ride to work I use the backpack feature which makes it much easier for my commute on the bike. I can fit my laptop accessories lunch and everything I need for my workday. My only issue is the shoulder strap wont stay in place. Maybe its the way I adjusting the strap but when I start walking, it wont stay the length that I adjusted it too.
