These markers are blotchy and muttled, regardless of the paper , the coloring technique , or the layering. the ink would leave white splotches for nearly every marker. These are supposed to be high end markers, I have worked with copics before. Normal copics have an even application with little to no white spots. Even on the very same paper. but here? These specific markers leave a lot of white blotches during application and it gets worse as it dries. I do not know why they do that , and if anyone can lend me any assistance or explain why , I would appreciate that. I work mostly with promarkers, and they leave no white spots , just an even, painterly layer. Now, normally Copic and promarker can go head to head on even grounds , but this time the promarkers out preformed by copics! What gives? I think I was given old or untested markers or something because these look awful and I can not will myself to working with markers that behave like my old touch fives. Which , mind you , most of my touchfives can laydown evenly with no white spots. All of the copic markers that came in my set leave white splotches. Sad part is , the buyer doesnt allow for refunds or exchanges , (I really wanted an exchange you see.) , so I had to call amazon and luckily they were able to issue some sort of compensation. but now I have a bunch of markers I cant use for anything I intended it for. I am extremely dissatisfied with these. And what makes it worse was I really liked these colors and their pallet works well with my other markers. Its just the ink is awful! Copics were my dream markers but the quality of these are unacceptable. Before you buy , ask if the buyer tested the markers then ask them if they handle returns. I say this because sometimes the description wont tell you. I hope this helps.

I may not be artist but comics are great markers to use! They may cost a lot of money but it’s worth it! But you just have to be gentle with them.

She loves to draw and these markers will help her to bring her creations to life. Very good quality with vivid colors.

I ended up purchasing this kit, but I was looking for the Sketch Pack that has the refill feature. This one does not allow ink recharge. Anyway, the quality for drawing (until ink lasts) is the great Copic performance as usual.

Amazing markers that are well worth the money. If youre just starting out, they might feel a tad awkward as they have a unique nib, but once you use them more and more the better they seem to get.

Got these for my son for Christmas because this is what he wanted. I thought they were a little pricey for what they are but he is extremely happy with his gift. And thats whats most important

Wonderful addition to the set I already had. It has additional shades that makes my work look more and more professional. I love the set and the supplier was beyond fantastic in their service. A good set at a better price than two of the 36 marker sets.

Good range of colors and pigment. But get the originals or sketch because they have more ink.

These things are not cheap. I am gifting them to my daughter. She will spaz out when she gets these. I would say not at all for beginner.
