> 3 dayI purchased the Copic Premium Artist Markers - 72 color Set A - Intermediate Level. Just so you know where Im coming from, I am not a professional or even student artist. I just find I need markers for various things, and my daughter, who is an artist, told me Copic were the best. So I splurged on the 72 A and B sets. What I didnt know is that the Premium Artist Markers Intermediate Level have a long and very flexible brush tip on one end. and a thick ¼ inflexible beveled edge on the other end. I just went and looked over all of the product description, etc., on the page where I bought the set, and a brush tip is no where mentioned. And the wide width of the other end is no where mentioned, either. Im keeping the sets, but I can see why it is called Intermediate. The brush tip works very much like a real brush and needs an extra level of skill to not squish the tip all over. And getting a thin line from the edge of the beveled end of the pen also takes some practice. On the plus side, what I was hoping Copic would give me, that cheap marker sets cannot, was genuinely LIGHT colors. They didnt fail me. The Cotton Pearl # E00 and Milky White # E51, for example, are nicely pale if you only swipe once, and only begin to darken if you swipe twice. AND, this set includes a marvelous Colorless Blender # 0, which really brings the color down to nearly invisible. If you use it on top of Cotton Pearl, you are left with the barest touch of tan. Use it on Pale Pink # RV10 and you have barely a blush. Alternately, the darkest colors are very dark, opaque and true-colored. As youd expect from its name, you can use the Colorless Blender to fuzz up the edges where two colors meet. Ive included some sample swipes done on plain copy paper. Monitors vary, but the colors come out true on my PC monitor. Lots of beautiful tones, a wide variety and quality ink that has almost no odor at all. The plastic case they arrive in is a little flimsy, but so far so good. EDITED TO ADD: I also purchased the brush tip set 72B (from this page). Different colors, of course, but comments are the same. 72B does NOT have a solid black (though it has a very dark gray) and it does not include a Colorless Blender. More recently, I purchased the 5-marker Skin Tone set (also from this page). These pens are brush-tip/beveled edge. There is some duplication with sets 72A and 72B: Cotton Pearl (E00) is also in the 72A set. Tea Rose (E93) and Barley Beige (E11) are in the 72B set. Pale fruit Pink (E000), Dark Suntan (E15) and Copper (E18) are not contained in either the 72A or 72B sets. Happy Reader

> 3 dayI am very happy I chose the Ciao set I was worried about the brush tip since I wasnt all that familiar with using it but They are really great and very easy to use They blend so seamless its kinda scary lol I will definitely be buying the remaining sets Update: March 23,2019 I had only tried a marker or 2 when I first did this review well when I sat down to actually color all but 4-5 markers were DRY and barely any ink came through I was very upset and Never thought in a million years I would experience this from a Copic marker

> 3 dayAny fewer and I think you wouldnt have enough to blend properly unless you got one of the 5-packs specifically for blending (but then you wouldnt have enough for, say, a portrait).

> 3 dayI had sets of these markers before and I loved them. Unfortunately for me the thief that stole them did too. This is a replacement set and I am so excited to have them again and to use them in my cardmaking. They are in color groups and make it easy to put together the colors to use to create the shading you desire. They are easy to use, but you have to use the appropriate paper and ink ( if rou are stamping ) to prevent the cloor bleeding. Its great that there are refills available to make sure these pens last for a long time.

> 3 dayAmazing markers that are well worth the money. If youre just starting out, they might feel a tad awkward as they have a unique nib, but once you use them more and more the better they seem to get.
