> 3 dayI originally bought this power supply to power two gtx 1080 tis, but decided that I only really needed one. I was debating returning this back for a partial refund but the quality was just so much better than my last power supply (not to mention that it stays silent most of the time). I cant speak for efficiency or anything of that sort, but if youre worried about it failing on you, I would like to put your mind at ease. This power supply has been running good for the past few weeks and I havent noticed any signs of failure. If youre in the market for a 1000w power supply, this is one of the best options out there (especially since its modular).

> 3 dayMy first unit came wrapped in foam perfectly packaged and the unit has a huge dent in it and you can hear the broken components moving freely when you move the psu. Returned and got a new one again perfect packaging I install hit the power button nothing. After testing this unit with 3 motherboards 3 CPU’s & 3 sets of ram all various brands it’s dead out of the box. Having never owning a Corsair power supply before & getting 2 dead units I will never be a customer again. Wouldn’t recommend but maybe your luck will be better than mine

04-04-2025Well, I ordered this power Supply for a new pc build. I waited until I had all the components, but by the time I went to turn on the PC.. Nothing... After some trouble shooting I discovered this brand new Power supply was a dud....

> 3 dayCorsair wins again. EVGA’s same line of PSU arrived DOA. Never had that issue yet with Corsair thankfully. Reliable quality so far. If you’re going to be doing any overclocking with higher end products, you’re going to want to get a PSU like this for stable current draw. Worth the money, you get what you pay for.
