I have a full tower case, and I couldnt hide the cables behind my MB because they are too short. Not a huge deal, but rather annoying for a premium power supply.

I really trusted Corsair but now Im not so sure. This was put in a brand new build. Last night the user said he heard a POP, computer died and smoke came out of the case. Return window closed two or three weeks ago so the money is lost, IM NOT HAPPY!

My old PSU sounds like a tractor at full load, so I need a quiet PSU and this one is perfectly quiet. The quality looks good, and its easy to install.

First of all, the cables that come with this unit are horrendous to work with. If you have a case with limited cable management space then expect to invest in custom cables regardless of whether or not you care about aesthetics. They have in-line capacitors and those are placed near the component side of the cable causing massive bulk that makes routing them and positioning them nearly impossible.

The quality is questionable, it gradually failed in a few weeks, very hard to troubleshoot. The computer would go completely powered off but you can boot it power cycle it again, and it would be working for hours without any problem but then as youre working on important documents, its powered off suddently without any warning. It kept on doing this for over two weeks wihtout us being able to identify thats going on. Then one day, it just went completely off, no warning, just dead.

It certainly works, very quiet, good power delivery, especially on modern systems.

Great PSU. Full modularity is great, run only the cables you need. Plenty of power even for higher end systems.
