25-11-2024Corsair did a great job engineering this beauty, which is why its worth an extra few bucks when choosing a power supply for your machine. I use mine for A/V production and gaming, so it is of utmost importance that all components get clean, uninterrupted power supply at all times. I finished my build in April 2020 and have had no problems with power supply. Well, zero problems -- ever!

> 3 dayNeeded an upgrade for my 3070Ti. Wanted something white because even though my case (Corsair 4000D) hides the PSU reasonably well, you can still see parts of it and I didnt want that.

Greater than one weekWorking great! Cables are a little stiff but still made it work.

Greater than one weekI’ll admit I suffered a brief episode of shock and awe when I opened these power supplies. I was sure I had selected the wrong thing. My computers are all-in-one. touch-screens and there is no way something like this would fit inside them.

> 3 dayThe product works perfectly fine. Is so silent that you can barely hear it however the major problem is the cable. It comes only with 2 8 Pin connectors. It miss the most important cable. the 12 Pin cable to the motherboard. 8+4 pins.

> 3 dayMy husband’s job is in the computer engineering field, and we own many, many computer-related items. He saw this and had to have it. He said he wanted it to replace the OEM power supply in an eight year old Dell Optiplex 790 that has been running FreeBSD 24/7 as a lightweight personal server. He stress tested it for two weeks with regular load plus power intensive CPU and hard drive loads using the stress-ng utility and observed no problems or excessive noise. My husband really likes that this has modular cables because there are no unused/spares to tie up out of way or to block airflow. This supply’s connectors are tight and have a thumb-clip to hold it/them in place. When powered-on, the fan spins up then turns off in less than a minute in what Corsair is calling Zero RPM fan mode. However, if a high CPU or hard drive load is imposed on the system the fan spins up again. We like this but would caution that this could cause localized excessive heat (e.g. hard drive) inside any computer cases that are designed with the assumption that the power supply fan is always moving air through the case. When it is on at what is assumed full speed, the 140mm fan is large enough to move a good volume of air fairly quietly. As it isn’t listed what come with this power supply, it includes: 1 modular 24-Pin ATX motherboard power cable, 2 modular cables, each supplying power to three SATA drive power connectors, 1 modular cable that supplies power to four IDE (a.k.a 4-Pin Molex) drive power connector, 2 modular cables, each supplying power to two 6/8 combo PCIe power connectors, 2 modular 8-Pin CPU power cables (EPS12V), 4 black case screws, and 10 black tie-wraps. We are both very happy with this, and I highly recommend it!

> 3 dayThis power supply unit seems like an excellent choice for white-themed builds, 850w was exactly what I needed to power my new gaming computer properly. Unfortunately, the cables included with the PSU are horrible. All of the cables, especially the 24-pin ATX cable to power the motherboard, are all extremely stiff and look disgusting in any PC build.
