Excellent memory upgrade for your custom build. You really do not need a faster RAM this works great and performance increase you get paying a lot more for faster ram is not worth it.

Fast RAM, doesnt overheart. Ive been running my machine with this RAM for about 6 months now and have had no problems with it at all. Nothing more I could ask for from my RAM.

This is not a review, just for info: Computers and parts have been erratic lately with wide price spreads. I am now placing things in my favorites to lock in prices when at low point, waiting for lowest or buy in cart items if prices drop no further. It is similar to locking in a loan rate on a home.

When I decided I needed to go from 16GB to 32 GB in my desktop machine, I purchased 2 of these. The problem came at install time. Normally I wouldnt think the height of a RAM module would matter, but in this case it does. I have a Cooler Master Hyper 212 fan, which uses pipes and an oversized fan. The fan extends over the top of 1 of the 4 ram slots, leaving just barely enough clearance for a regular height ram module. No way this overheight stuff is going to fit in that slot. Now I need to order a different CPU fan to be able to plug in this RAM.

I am not sure how to rate memory but, The design is impressive... It possess fins for heat dissipation and they have a lifetime warranty. What more can you ask for.
