Keine thermischen Probleme. Jederzeit wieder!

So I got this a couple of years ago buying this on my mothers account and it worked fine except one of the two sticks was faulty. I was too young to suspect Amazon of giving me a broken stick and just thought that it was my computer that was malfunctioning. Make sure to verify purchases people, and dont be afraid to contact customer service like I was all those years ago.

Much better than the slow 8gb that came with my pre-built.

Does exactly what youd expect and performs beautifully. The only thing I didnt like was how tall these are but I suspect that wont be a problem for everyone. My cpus heatsink and fan are large enough that they hang slightly over the RAM slots. A standard RAM stick fits under it just fine but these have an added height that made it so I had to move these to the outer slots, away from the heatsink to fit. Not ideal. Would have liked to put these in the primary slots on my board for best performance. I either need to use more compact sticks or get a smaller heatsink to fit everything nicely.

Leider war einer der beiden Riegel defekt.

This is a limitation of a 32-bit operating system. In Windows, the Windows memory manager is limited to a 4 GB physical address space. Most of that address space is filled with RAM, but not all of it. Memory-mapped devices (such as your video card) will use some of that physical address space, as will the BIOS ROMs. After all the non-memory devices have had their say, there will be less than 4GB of address space available for RAM below the 4GB physical address boundary. MacOS X Tiger and Leopard are both 64-bit operating systems and will not experience this problem. Neither will 64-bit versions of Windows XP or Vista or Windows 7.
