I bought this kit when it was on sale for about $125 to upgrade my slower 8GB kit that I bought for my PC when it was built. For that price, this kit is a fantastic value, and I was tempted to put put in a second set for a total of 32GB. Very easy to install and my system is rocking away at 16GB of awesomeness.

I got this at a great price and I am pretty happy with the turn out! 1600 MHz is like the middle grade RAM which really just fine if you ask me. The packing with nice although it didnt come with any directions but you shouldnt really need directions with RAM (its self explanatory). So far its doing well and I would say its a fantastic product.

Ive had no issues with this memory... its been working great in my Win7 home-studio machine. I added a quiet CPU fan to my system and it wouldnt clear the fins on this memory. I googled the issue and it turns out (believe it or not) that the fins serve little purpose in the cooling department and can be remove. (As tested by Toms Hardware, etc.)

Great ram modules. Using them to get another year or so of use out of my older machine.

These Ram sticks are the difference maker and well worth cost. I suffer from frequent slow computer induced rage and these were prescribed by an underqualified and wholly imaginary Doctor.

This is a limitation of a 32-bit operating system. In Windows, the Windows memory manager is limited to a 4 GB physical address space. Most of that address space is filled with RAM, but not all of it. Memory-mapped devices (such as your video card) will use some of that physical address space, as will the BIOS ROMs. After all the non-memory devices have had their say, there will be less than 4GB of address space available for RAM below the 4GB physical address boundary. MacOS X Tiger and Leopard are both 64-bit operating systems and will not experience this problem. Neither will 64-bit versions of Windows XP or Vista or Windows 7.
