Memory was causing kernel panic initially, browser tabs crash downloaded some Steam games and the games does not start, it says some files are corrupted, have to re-download them. Used Apple Diagnostic (option+d on boot up), it said it has a problem with the memory module. Reseated the memory. Used Rember a dozen or so different times with different configurations. Found 2 of the sticks were bad and sent back to Amazon. Started about 2 weeks later to have same issues and ended up seeing that one module was bad and had to send back...

Upgraded my asus laptop a couple of months ago, no regrets at all. This memory kit works like a champ, very satisfied with this purchase.

I purchased this locally (Sorry, Amazon) for about $10 more, which is less than I would otherwise pay for next day delivery. I had read mixed reports of whether the Asus K55a laptop supported 16GB RAM, but this RAM works perfectly in the system. I ran several applications and heavy resource games and had no troubles whatsoever with the memory. Window 8.1 now runs with only around 1.5-2.5GB RAM used out of the 16GB, including Intel 4000 graphics shared memory when idle.

Vendue à un tarif particulièrement intéressant sur Amazon, cette barrette mémoire SODIMM pour ordinateur PC portable fait extrêmement bien le job : le format est normalisé donc sans surprise, le conditionnement est parfait, la finition très sérieuse, mémoire reconnue sans défaut à linstallation, le fonctionnement est sans accroc. Un bon à 12Go de RAM en remplaçant une barrette de 4Go, lautre étant malheureusement soudée sur carte mère. La norme DDR3, sur bus fréquence 1600 MHz, avec un CAS latence 10, cest nickel pour mon Asus Zenbook U500VZ de 2013 qui reste toujours au top après bientôt 7 ans de vie !

Has worked excellently with my HP Envy dv6-7226nr to replace the 16Gb of RAM I previously had installed, after BSOD started happening multiple times a day.

How do you rate computer memory? Its sort of like rating a wall hanger... It just needs to work reliably forever and stay out of sight. The memory seems to work fine. I put this in my mac mini before I turned it on and it has worked ever since. No crashes and no fusses from the Mac. Much cheaper than ordering the Mac Mini with a 16 GB upgrade from Apple!
