Easy to install, make sure you have a os version saved on somthing, ie...memory stick...USB stick...external hard drive

I bought this Ram along with my Crucial M4 256 SSD drive and I could not be happier. There are a number of Youtube videos showing you how to install and honesty, it took me about 5 minutes for both upgrades. Very happy!!!

Just a headsup - this might be somewhat baffling for a complete newbie as there were no instructions whatsoever. It was easy enough to work out for me for my Dell Vostro 3700 (may depend on your laptop), and you always have google at hand. The new memory chips were a lot easier to fit than the past time I had to do this job (PC tower, 10+yrs ago).

If you need to max out your ram, this stuff works fine.

The good news is that this memory came packaged sturdily so no possibility for damage. As soon as I installed these modules my computer ran faster than it has since got it home a month ago. A HUGE improvement in overall speed as is easily noticed but I have not ever used any type of memory software and am now trying to determine where in settings to obtain performance, settings and similar due to the laptop internal fan winding up to warp speed and then back down to silent on a 25-second or so cycle plus or minus 3 seconds. Has me concerned that I need to correct memory or other settings and I need to check temps. Time I learned these things correctly. Once these changes have been made I will really enjoy using this machine.I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this memory to any I7 laptop owners as I believe the correct product choice was made and this owner just needs to read/learn. Any positive recommendations welcomed. BUY IT ALREADY!

I just popped it into my laptop and was on my way, no problems, no defects. Ran at correct speed and timing. No problems.

I recently ordered an Alienware m17 R5 and bought these to upgrade my laptop to 32GB. Had no issues installing it and works perfectly fine
