Greater than one weekInstalled these on a 2012 iMac (bought new in 2012 but is technically a 2011 release model). Installation took 2 minutes tops, was a simple job, rebooted computer and recognized it right away.

08-06-2025So I will start by saying this and not in a bad way, the first stick was D.O.A. These things happen ya know. Well without any more money or having to wait for them to get it back they sent me another one right away. Thes second one showed up perfectly and works as it should. I have had no issues with it at all, there isnt much else to say about it really. size was right speed was right and it didnt blow my lap top up lol.

> 3 daySo far so good! Ordered x2 16GB cards before Christmas to boost the RAM in my new Imac 27” 5K and inserted them into slots 2 and 4 (moving the original 2 cards to 1 and 3) - now I have much better performance with a total of 40GB’s for my machine. No issues whatsoever and I’m really pleased with the outcome.

> 3 dayMy IMac was the base model from the 2017 27in,I was just adding 1tb instead of the base configuration, the thing that was holding the performance was the memory ram that was only 8 gb,clearly not enough, every time I was doing some photo editing the IMac was super slow and in most cases the computer was rebooting the system in the middle of my work, leaving me with a mess because nothing was getting saved and I was losing all my progress,on top of that the rebooting was a pain in the ass because fort was getting freeze the screen, nothing was working, then after a couple of minutes was turning the screen black and was letting me know that something went wrong and after that the thing was restarting, now I’m working perfect,no more problems,I really recommend expanding your memory ram instead of buying a new IMac,you can really same a couple of bucks,I was also recommending to clean your caches and I was explaining how to do it,that helps a lot your computer (apple devices) ,this technique was given to me by and apple technician.
