It does its job,100% ,apparently its a chore to find one of these in the USA, switch to metric please,nobody uses your antiquated measurement system anymore

easy to read, retracts well, doesnt bend easily until it extends further out (which is a plus)

Some of the reviews here made me hesitate for a moment. I’m glad I made the purchase. This is very high quality and so easy to use and to read. Works very well. So much nicer than my last one. Highly recommend.

I was looking for a clear easy to read , accurate tape measure. This tape measure is accurate. But is very small and hard to read. If you are looking for a wide blade this is not your tape measure. if not its easy to use locks and place and is accurate.

We attempted to measure something that was about 12 feet long with a measuring tape advertised to be 12 feet long. It made sense at the time. However, if you attempt to extend this tape measure close to the length printed on its exterior, you will almost certainly break it. The tape snapped off from the spool at about 114 extension. Whatever mechanism was employed to secure it failed and it does not seem possible to reassemble. If you want to measure something that is roughly 12 feet long, you might want to purchase two of these to ensure it can reach.

It broke immediately, very unlike Craftsman products. I have used Craftsman products for many years this is the first time I have a complaint. Amazon says this product is not available for return. Not sure why but Im not happy.

The best part of this tape measure is that it doesnt slap back in until you want it to. Doesnt feel flimsy and not too heavy.

For those who want to know, this tape measure was made in Thailand .

Does not stay locked out! Hard to measure long wall when the tape measure itself is not strong enough to hold its place…

This tape measure is great because it labels the fractions between the whole numbers. Makes it really easy to get an exact measurement.
