Exactly what I was expecting and what I wanted.

Im 72 yrs young and Ive been using CRAFTSMAN since I was a young teenager, tools screwdrivers, skill saws their entire line, CRAFTSMAN HAS ALWAYS been a ROCK, SOLID, RELIABLE name, to anybody that has ever used tools. CRAFTSMAN may have a problem, as all tools do in this imperfect world, BUT, you always could go hand the tool to somebody in a Sears or any CRAFTSMAN outlet, & theyd give you a brand new one. They ALWAYS stood behind their products!!! I havent bought any CRAFTSMAN for decades, I havent needed too because they last!!!. I got this CRAFTSMAN TAPE MEASURE, as soon as I opened it & played with the buttons, I immediately remembered, Oh ya, when you use ANYTHING that has the name CRAFTSMAN on it, you IMMEDIATELY think, THIS IS A QUALITY TOOL!!! 2 THUMBS UP!!! DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!!!

Hope it proves to be durable because the self lock is nice. Would’ve liked the tape to be yellow but it’s not hard to read.

Great construction good for outdoor sites

This tape measure is very cheaply made and is a waist of money when you are trying to measure wide width spans. Unless you are going to use this thing for working on a flat surface save your money. The lock feature is a pain in the But as well.

Must have gotten a defective unit since people generally positive towards this one, but mine doesnt retract. Tried locking and unlocking, no avail.

My hubby works on machines, and this was a life saver for him.
