Greater than one weekI have an Ender 3 V2, and this extruder being aluminum was perfect after the original extruder smashed to bits on me. I also was not a fan of all the red anodized versions of this, and wanted something that didnt stand out so much, and this fit the bill perfectly! Pluses: Its aluminum, should last longer than the old one It has an upgraded hardened steel pneumatic connecter for the tubing It looks less clashy with the Ender 3v2 I cant knock stars off because the original extruder literally exploded on me, but suffice it to say this extruder should just be standard on all Creality 3D printers.

> 3 dayIm using Creality direct drive conversion on a Creality CR-10 mini. With the bowden coupler screwed in, the hole on in the direct drive bracket is too small for it to fit through, so you cant line up the extruder mounting holes to install it. Fortunately, there is a recessed part inside the extruder that fits the bowden tube and keeps it in place without the need for the connector. Because the way the tube installs on the direct drive mod it cant really move around when you cut it to the correct length, so its not a problem. Prior to this I used a Creality red extruder that came with the direct drive kit, but found it didnt provide enough tension and Id hear occasional slipping during retracts. This version has adjustable spring tension and seems to eliminate the slipping, however its a bit tricky to adjust the tension if you have the direct drive bracket because the screw is located underneath. You cant adjust it before installation because theres a mounting screw directly next to it that you need access to. In general this is a pretty good product for most people with standard bowden setups, which is what most people will be using.

05-06-2025As said, they should just come with the ender 3 v2. The stock plastic part breaks and will waste several prints worth of plastic before you figure out its not holding tension on filament.

Greater than one weekGrabs onto filament very well. Would recommend. A little tricky to put on to printer but not undoable

> 3 dayI was having all sorts of issues with my prints, and I could not figure out why. After closer examination, it turned out that the plastic arm on the original extruder had cracked, so there was not enough tension to properly feed the filament. After installing this extruder, my prints are coming out fantastic! It is fairly easy to install, and it fits perfectly on my Creality Ender3 V2. There was no need to change any settings in the firmware, since it is essentially the same as what came installed on the printer, but just made of metal instead of plastic. Also, since it is metal, I doubt that I will experience any issues related to a cracked extruder arm in the future. It worked so well that I purchased one for a fried who was having some extruder issues, and his prints have been coming out perfectly ever since. Highly recommended!!

03-06-2025Good upgrade to my plastic extruder. I bought it because my spring wore out, but I prefer the metal assembly to plastic. It uses a through pneumatic connector like the thermister which provides a much better hold on the bowden tube

> 3 dayI had to buy this because I received a faulty extruder with my Ender 5 Pro. Long story short, I am very happy with this purchase. Heres why: 1. It is very easy to set up. 2. Filament goes through much more easily 3. Filament doesnt get stuck in it. If youre looking to buy this, I would highly recommend it.
