Creality Official Upgrade Extruder, MK8 Extruder Alloy Block Bowden Extruder 1.75mm Filament for Ender 3 Series, Ender 5/5 Plus/Pro, CR-10 Series 3D Printer

Installed onto an Ender 3 Pro and have to say the difference on my prints is night and day. No more under extrusion problems and actually feeding new filament into this is so much easier than the stock one it came with. No more fiddling with the end of the filament trying to find the hole that goes into the bowden tube after the gear. Slides right through and down the tube. Paired this with some capricorn bowden tubing which also makes a difference compared to the white stock tubing. So far well worth the money.

I purchased this to upgrade the plastic extruder setup on my Ender 3 but an added benefit is that loading filament is now much easier as well!

So as cheap as all the creality brand upgrades are, why tf arent they just included already when you buy the printer. I have had to upgrade this, the build plate, the board, add bl touch and I would have gladly just paid an extra $75 and not have wasted 7 days of print time and $40 in filament from failed prints due to sub par parts. This product was ok, but didnt come with all the screws, I had to go to the hardware store to get it together and get back up and running.

After my stock extruder broke on my ender 3 I bought this to fix it. Its easy to install and high quality. It has fixed my underextrusion issues and looks asthetically pleasing. If you need a replacement extruder this one wont disappoint

The press-on gear can’t be removed from the shaft on the original motor without a $40 tool. Creality has apparently modified this on later Ender 3 units which have set screws and a flat spot on the shaft. Really sad they don’t mention this.

You must buy if you have a creality 3d printer. Eventually the plastic one will fail

For someone such as myself who has never installed any upgrades on a 3D printer of any sort, this was confusing at first but a fairly straightforward and simple to install bit of kit. Would definitely recommend this as a first upgrade for a Creality Ender 3 V2 that is less expensive than the Micro Swiss kit. Will definitely purchase again in the future if I buy another Ender 3 V2 if I dont make the jump to direct drive extrusion. 4 out of 5 stars from me.

Works great and easy to assemble. Ive used this on both my printers now.
