> 24 hourFits perfectly on the Ender 3 V2, way better than the plastic oem. There wasn’t a notch to hold up your cables so I had to print one before installing. Looks good and works well. You will have to adjust your extrusion after installation.

> 24 hourLike many others my CR6-SE extruder didnt last long. I got this as an upgrade and its a direct fit replacement. I will say the instructions leave a lot to be desired and at first I messed up the spring tensioner with another part. However I noticed quickly and swapped them around. It works great and is a huge improvement to the stock extruder.

> 24 hourUpon first inspection, this kit seemed great. However, the instructions were not really instructions, but simply a photo of the parts. Not super helpful. If you are a beginner to 3D printing and/or not mechanically inclined, they won’t help you much. Despite the poor “instructions,” I got the upgrade installed on my machine. And everything seemed to work great. At first. Filament was feeding the way it’s supposed to and I was completely happy. Then, after five days of near continuous printing with PolyTerra PLA Cotton White and Wood Brown (color name only - contains no wood), my machine started having the same extrusion problems as before. I take the new extruder apart to find the gear is worn out. After five days of printing with some of the most non-harsh material possible. I’ll move it down and up the shaft to hit the good parts of the gear, but that’ll only get me 15 days max out of the gear. That’s a serious problem. My old gear itself is still in better shape after six MONTHS of printing. The initial problem was cracked plastic. The other parts of the upgraded kit seem to be fine, but the extruder gear is a pretty important component to be failing after 5 days.

> 24 hourUpdate, was originally going to only send this item back due to missing parts but!... customer service got a hold of me and sent me a new one and all I can say is it’s outstanding! Smooth operations since it’s been installed. Old review below. Only reason this is a two star is I have just received my package and I am missing multiple parts, The bolt that goes into the tightener pulley arm, the tube clam, and I got Curious and checked the length of the tube and only received 1/2 the length I was supposed to. Returning it today, if my replacement is better I’ll fix this review.

> 24 hourYeah, my gorilla hands broke the plastic lever by the second or third time I loaded filament into the printer. I had to look up a YouTube review regarding assembly. Fortunately, there are plenty of those. And so far, this metal upgrade has withstood the Kali-Ma death clutch. After a few months, Im comfortable enough to give it a 5-star review.

> 24 hourgoing to all metal from some plastic parts just seemed like a simple mod. i have an Aquila X2...ive upgraded fans and replaced the hot end from kit from here. the heater on the upgrade wasnt recognised by the operating system, so i had to use the OEM part until i can suss the proper one.

> 24 hourEverything came packed in some transparent bags. The extruder is very easy to assemble, it came with instructions but they are not even necessary. Very satisfied with the product. You should take on account that this is not going to improve your print quality. This upgrade is intended to increse extrusion performance. The original extruder, plastic, can broke on time and it is more prone to skip. The metal one is intended to work for more time without issues. Also, I would highly recommend to attach an stress relief device before the extruder. It will reduce friction on the input hole and avoid hole wear. It is metal, yes, but 300m of PLA can erode that metal and kill your extruder. Edit: The Capricorn really is a mandatory upgrade. It will increase your print quality in another level. Currently, I changed from 4mm retract to 2mm and Im thinking about setting it to 1mm. There is no stringing at all and the fit is just exact. One important point, it is so thigh Im having trouble with filament change. Overall, I feels like having a direct extruder.

> 24 hourGreat upgrade, had held up well for several months now of frequent use. Not sure if this is truly OEM Creality parts as there have been several versions of these parts, but even if theyre not, the quality is good enough that it doesnt matter.
