Excellent replacement for the stock extruder and it seems to be legitimate Capricorn tubing.

It is basically the same as the original one that came on the ender 5 pro one of the bolts stripped out not a improvement at all!

Im not sure if I just got a defective length of tube, or if it wasnt genuine capricorn, but none of the filaments I have will fit smoothly through it, and I have been unable to print anything at all with this tube on my machine. I thought I was having nozzle clogs at first, but after searching high and low for the source of my jams, I tried taking just a ~10 length of the tube and pushing my pla through it by hand, and it jammed before it got to the end, same with another brand of pla, same with pteg. That being said, the metal extruder and stiffer springs have both been welcome upgrades, and easy to install.

Instructions that come with it are in chinese, but the quality of the parts and everything were fantastic. Took about 15 minutes to install, and in all honesty saved me so many headaches I originally had with feeding new filament as well as measured right at the proper level of feeding without even doing a differential. I should add I used this on a CR6-SE, definitely could be a headache for other ones, but came with all the proper screws etc.

My stock plastic extruder feeder had crackeddand was causing the filament to constantly slip and underextrude. I purchased this thinking it would fix all my problems. It did not. This pinches the filament too hard and there is zero adjustment to change how hard it grips. Now my failment gets bound up because of too much bend.

Really happy about this purchase so far. My 3d printer was in major need of this small upgrade and I feel it helped improve my print quality alot. The all metal extruder is very well built and seems to grip the filament alot better than the plastic stock one. I am glad they include every single scre/gear and coupler needed to install this upgrade. My stock gear was already worn down so Im glad they included a new one. The capricorn tube is also a great improvement as it guides and feeds the filament alot better as there is not alot of play inside the tube like stock one had. The new yellow more stiff springs are also a great add on. I used to have a need to eye-level my bed every other print it felt like. Now I check my level at least once a week and have not had to re-level yet. Overall this is a great kit no complaints! Quality parts and material. Although one thing that might need some improvement are the install instructions provided as they only show instructions for extruder. If they would provide more instructions to include the PTFE tube and springs that would be great.

Yellow springs are 25mm in length. Ender 3 uses a 20mm spring so many will run into trouble there. PTFE couplers are mostly cheap junk and not quality. Ended up returning.

This is a must upgrade.

Ok, so I dont have a CR-10 style machine, so it would probably work on there. the primary reason why I got it is that the dimensions should fit a Monoprice select mini V2. It does, but its that stupid spring brings down the kit for me. Apparently, its too damn strong to use and causes the motor to skip. I tried cutting it down, but that still didnt work. I tried using the stock spring form the old extruder kit, but I had no luck since it was not strong enough. the Capricorn tubing works, so no lost points there. The springs arent compatible with my machine, so I cant speak for their performance. If I could find another spring that would fit this kit and not be too tight, then I would recommend this kit to those that have the same printer as me. As it stands, everything else in the kit works, but its obviously geared towards a much more popular printer. Some stuff is transferrable though, so its not a total loss. Also I know that the kit isnt geared towards the Monoprice machines, but it fits a standard NEMA 17 Motor. so anyone who has their extruder hooked up to one (Which should be most of you) should be fine. I just lost the lottery on this one. Edit: Customer support heard my complaints and fully refunded me. Changing my stars from 3 to 4 as customer support really did it for me. Compatibility is still iffy, but Im willing to forgive it for this great level of customer service. Original post above for more context.

Has almost everything you need to upgrade your Ender 3. It is a good quality kit but it loses a star because it does not come with a tube cutter for the Capricorn tube. Great value for the price though.
