Originally bought for the PTFE tubing but I’m pretty sure it’s counterfeit as the inner diameter isn’t centered in the tube and actually caused more friction than less. Metal extruded caused a lot of problems, had to replace the Bowden tube connector. Also, make sure that you either get a shim or don’t tighten the bolt on the swing arm. I snugged mine down and it gave me problems for days till I realized the arm couldn’t swing completely free. Springs are awesome though and would recommend those. Not very impressed with the other parts.

Works great with my Cr-6 SE, I will be ordering more for my other cr’s to replace the stock extruder. It was very easy to install, I recommend setting the printer on a table for easy access to install this piece. I would recommend this to everyone.

Everything was fine, the one issue that I encountered was for one of the springs, they dont completely fit because of the headed bed cable guide plastic being there. However, there is a pretty simple easy fix to that, use a pair of scissors, and with only 1 blade in the hole were the spring hits, twist and slowly widen the hole, the plastic is soft so it is pretty easy to do, afterwards the springs will fit and to keep the plastic piece in place, just simply zip tie it to the bottom.

The assumption that this will have any impact on improving your print quality is hilarious.. I got it mainly because it was only a few dollars more than just ordering the bowden tube & fasteners by them selves. They used a screen, as the method of securing the spring in place. Instead of just making 1 extra cut on the casting or cutting (however they make this thing) they could have added a little nub to keep the spring in place. The spring they provide is a bit long, which if you are OCD about things being aligned, then tightening the spring down so the thumb press aligns with the housing, will put to much tension causing the extruder stepper motor to have to work harder to push the filament through. The filament is pushed so hard against the extruder tip (with the teeth on it) that you can see the groves of the barring in the filament. This kept causing some of the softer filaments to be cut when going through the extruder. I ended up putting the original Ender 3 pieces back onto the machine. Again, this does not server any purpose other than looking pretty and does NOT improve print quality.

This is a perfect set of upgrade parts to the Ender 3. The yellow springs help lock in the bed level better then the stock ones. The aluminum extruder assembly is a direct fit and prevents downtime from the stock plastic version failing. I assembled my second Ender 3 with these parts right away and have 2 weeks and many hours on the printer already and I have had no issues at all.

I ordered this kit as soon as I purchased my ender 3 v2 on a recommendation. I can’t speak to the quality of the quality of stock parts but the kit for springs and extruded, and tube has been awesome. I haven’t had any issues yet. Make sure to take your time and look at the review images if something is confusing. The “instructions”don’t help too much.

Yikes. I bought this to replace the plastic extruder that came with my Ender 3 v2. That extruder (the original plastic one) could feed PLA and flexible TPU with no issue. The metal one just... couldnt. Its odd, it was like it would lose grip and slip, then catch and start chewing through the PLA. I ultimately switched back to the plastic one and that completely fixed all the issues the metal one caused. As far as the other items, the springs were great, worked perfect. I like the new bowden tubing, though the new bowden fitting was slipping the tube badly after only 10 or so prints (Yes, I did ensure that the tubing was installed correctly, and recessed within the extruder). It was frustrating going back to the OEM parts, but less frustrating then failed prints 10hrs in.

It’s a good value for the money but the spring is so damn strong that it’s causing my prints to skip. I’ve been trying to compress it but to now avail. I’ll have to cut it down. This was the only thing keeping me from giving this a 5 star cause the quality is great otherwise.
