Greater than one weekI was using a cheaper slicer that I had purchased and it did not last - I caved and bought the cricut brand and it has been a world of difference. It is good quality and works great. The price is a little steep, but it is worth it.

> 3 dayBought a “brand” because I thought the quality would be better. It’s not. I needed to trim watercolor paper for my Etsy store, and the blade barely got through 3 before dulling and ruining the paper. If you’re doing a light to maybe medium card stock, you should be fine. You won’t have any issues with normal paper. But for anything heavy duty, or if you need to cut constantly, you’re going to be spending a lot of money on replacement blades. I can’t complain too much though, because I got this for a decent price. I just wish the blade was better.

> 3 dayI like that it’s light weight, easy to use and it doesn’t take up much room to store.

> 3 dayI used to have another one, different brand. I did not like it at all. That thing just wasnt accurate. But luckily, my cat pushed it out of the table and broke it. This one is way better! I would strongly recommend this trimmer!

> 3 dayUsed it for a month and the blade is still good as new! Would recommend for people that need to size paper for their notebooks/binders/etc.

> 3 dayThe cutter works fine, but drop the clear cover down a little too hard, let gravity slide the handle down too fast when you lift it or set it aside, or simply breathe on it or look at it wrong, and the handle pops off and goes flying across the floor, and often the blade in the other direction. I feel like I spent more time chasing those two little pieces down than crafting. I was so frustrated with this right after getting it, I was ready to buy a different one, but I had already thrown away the packaging so couldnt return it. Grrr. So I took a little piece of poster tack, rolled it up and stuffed it into the cavity of the handle, and its marginally better. Just dont stuff too much in there or itll ooze out the side and stick to the track and wont move. There really should have been a better design for this--something that had a tighter fit or clicked in place--I dont know. But for now, its a good thing I have a lot of poster tack.
