13-04-2025I was searching through amazon for a trimmer as I cut and frame diamond paintings I have done, and especially paperstock sheets to mount them on. I can rarely use this to cut a side of a diamond painting, not that it cant cut it (it can!), but a lot of times the outside row of diamonds isnt pin straight, plus trying to get it to butt up to the cutter while its so tall (from diamonds) is too hard. If you are doing a partial that has already printed boarders, this blade will sail through that with no problem! I find it difficult to cut a straight line with scissors, so this is a lifesaver! You can swing the arm out (or not), press your paper against the bumper line, line up the cutter, then press and slide. Voila! Perfect straight cut. Plus it is fairly lightweight and doesnt take up a whole lot of space. I highly recommend this!

> 3 dayI like that the ruler can be pulled out from the side to measure a longer piece of vinyl. Cuts well and is easy to use

> 3 dayThe cutter works fine, but drop the clear cover down a little too hard, let gravity slide the handle down too fast when you lift it or set it aside, or simply breathe on it or look at it wrong, and the handle pops off and goes flying across the floor, and often the blade in the other direction. I feel like I spent more time chasing those two little pieces down than crafting. I was so frustrated with this right after getting it, I was ready to buy a different one, but I had already thrown away the packaging so couldnt return it. Grrr. So I took a little piece of poster tack, rolled it up and stuffed it into the cavity of the handle, and its marginally better. Just dont stuff too much in there or itll ooze out the side and stick to the track and wont move. There really should have been a better design for this--something that had a tighter fit or clicked in place--I dont know. But for now, its a good thing I have a lot of poster tack.
