I use this mostly to cut leather. It works wonderfully. The trick is to use a new strong grip mat, and use washi tape to hold down the side of the leather. Make sure to have the fuzzy side of the leather up. Also, monitor the cut. Cricut is preset for something like 14 cuts for 6-7 ounce leather. Depending on the softness of the leather, I typically need 9-12 cuts.

Was so excited to buy my blade and wood. The knife never cut cleanly and it broke after a few cuts. Really disappointed.

I bought this knife blade to use to work with leather. It works well. The Cricut makes multiple passes. When I did my first project, it actually almost cut through my mat. I have used it to make keychains and other projects. My only complaint is that there is no really easy way to sharpen the blade.

Doesnt work with Cricut Maker. The blade cant be detected.

My Cricut blade doesnt work. I tried calibrating the machine with the blade and it still doesnt recognize it.

This tool ruined several chip boards.
