I was in the process of having the entire machine replaced because this thing would not calibrate. I finally agreed to replace the machine, but spent about an hour just running the knife blade calibration over and over and over and over. It eventually worked out. Once it did, the knife cut beautifully.

It broke the very first time I used it. It completely snapped off the housing. I was using cricut brand chipboard, so I cant imagine itd hold up well with basswood and anything thicker. Super disappointed.

I am expanding my hobby in to crafts. My sister described a frame that she wanted to have made as a gift which I felt was doable. Part of the frame needed a the word “loves” to be cut out of wood. My woodshop is small and I don’t have many options. I initially used a scroll saw but kept breaking the letters and struggled. I was talking to someone one day about it and the thought to use my cricut came to mind. I researched and found it was possible with this blade. My local craft stores did not have it in stock so I ordered online. When it arrived, it was packaged very well and worked perfectly to complete the project! I am super excited to use it on future projects.
