I found out it didn’t have a cap when I reached in to get it out and the blade went into my hand. This is totally unacceptable. I highly doubt it’s Cricut brand, I’ve only ever gotten off brand without packaging. I’m not even going to try it as I ordered Cricut brand because I’ve had HUGE problems in the past with the off brand of this item. Very disappointed because I needed it for a work project tomorrow. I will be returning.

Easy to replace

This worked perfectly with my cricut maker. I was able to cut a lot of intricate designs and the blade is still going strong. I believe the people that were having trouble with this blade did not realize the cricut app does not work with this particular blade. You have to use a computer.

Very disappointed. Cricut stopped recognizing the knife blade after the second use and now its a useless piece of metal. Went through troubleshooting steps and the only possible issue left since my other blades work is that it is the knife blade itself.

This is useless. It came broken.

Unfortunately this blade snapped during its first use. I’m an experienced Cricut user and attempted to cut 1.5mm chipboard. The blade snapped within a few minutes and ruined my 11x11 board. :(

I finally got a chance to try this on 4.5-5 Oz tooling leather, and it worked great. The cuts were relatively quick and very smooth. The directions on line could be more detailed -- its not immediately clear that a computer must be used. I had no problems once I figured out the process.

I absolutely love how clean this cuts! I couldn’t find the knife blade in stores, I checked several. I just love how easy it was to find here and the cost same as it would be at a store.
