SSD veloce di ottima qualità, acquistato diverse volte. Facile da installare. Utilissimo per chi vuole aumentare le prestazioni del proprio computer e lautonomia della batteria dato che questo componente ha una velocità di lettura e scrittura più veloce rispetto agli hard disk tradizionali e consuma molto meno! Per chi viene da HDD il miglioramento è garantito.

Not as fast as a M.2 NVME drive, but noticeably faster than a hard drive. Was tired of the spooling up when I wanted to access my data, so I bought this Crucial BX500 SSD. That delay is now negligible.

According to UserBenchmark, my drive is performing way below expectations, and I can 100% confirm this. I bought this SSD to upgrade my university laptop, which was being bottlenecked by its slow 5400rpm HDD, and yet this SSD is barely an improvement!

I bought this SSD for a 5 year old Asus laptop with a simple Core i3 setup with just 6GB RAM. I found free cloning software online, and also bought a wire which I highly recommend, which will come in handy every time you need to upgrade an old laptop to SSD from its original HDD. The wire you need to make this amazingly easy is USB to SATA. One end is standard USB (works with USB 2.0 and 3.0) and the other end is easy, plug-in to any 2.5 SATA SSD (has both the SATA and power, all in one, wide plug.) Just download your favorite cloning software, plug in the drive, plug in to the laptop, clone, then shut down, unplug and swap out the drives on the inside. Booted quickly without any problem. All programs, apps and data were there, and ran much faster with seek times far better than with the old, standard HDD. IMO, the best value to revive an old laptop. The difference is astonishing, even on a mediocre 6GB RAM, Core i3 rig. Buy that wire. It will come in handy, over and over again, because once you see how easy it is to revive an old laptop, you will be doing it for the whole family and the neighbors as well as they order new SSDs.

Ho acquistato questa SSD per sostituire lHDD da 340 Gb di un iMac 9,1 (Early 2009). Associato allaggiornamento della RAM (da 4Gb a 8 Gb vedi recensione) ho ridato smalto a questo vecchio Mac. Effettuando la copia del S.O. (El Capitan) attraverso lApp. Carbon Copy, lSSD è stata subito riconosciuta allavvio di sistema, incrementandone considerevolmente le prestazioni. Successivamente, sulla stessa SSD, ho installato BOOTCAMP ottenendo un sistema dual Boot OS X El Capitan / Windows 10 (64Bit) perfettamente funzionante ... Amazon impareggiabile come sempre!
