just what I wanted, faster boot

I always bought Crucial or Samsung, and this SSD works flawlessly

Lo compré para mejorar el rendimiento de un PC I5 que tenía un HDD mecánico. El cambio ha sido increíble, de iniciar en 2 minutos a 20sg. Al ser Crucial te regalan el programa Acronis para Crucial el cual te permite clonar el HDD en el SSD de manera que luego solo tienes que sustituir uno por otro y ya está. El cambio se nota nada mas iniciar por el poco tiempo que tarda y todas las operaciones de copiar y pegar, instalar, etc van muy rápido.

SSD wurde bestellt, um einem Mac mini 2012 wieder auf die Beine zu helfen. Die bis dato eingebaute Festplatte fing an, den ansonsten gut laufenden Rechner auszubremsen.

Acquistata per upgrade ad iMac 21.5 , la ritengo ottima specialmente per il prezzo non elevato come quello della concorrenza.

Honestly I was expecting to see some kind of performance gain. Anything. But I honestly dont see it at all even loaded with ram. Plus its software thats included is very stripped so it wont allow you to adjust partition sizes etc. This is a problem since most ssd are replacing a hdd that is possibly and probably going to be larger. I ended up using an existing cloning software I already had instead of paying to upgrade what they included. Also the disc management software really doesnt give you any useable drive status info. Now Im gonna sound like an add , but I use HDD sentinel and it gives me all kinds of critical info.

Would recommend if ur on a strict budget, But for a few quid more you can get a m.2 which is remarkably faster

Great product from Crucial. Breathed new life into a mid 2012 MacBook Pro and now it starts very quickly indeed. The installation process isn’t that difficult although I’d recommend using a disk image of the OS loaded on a usb stick, do a fresh install then load your data from a time machine backup. (Instructions available online). I’ve had this product since December and it’s operating as expected . I’ll update this review in another few months.

Secondo acquisto dello stesso modello SSD --> confermo la valutazione data precedentemente --> SSD affidabile e veloce , con DUE piccole pecche che lo penalizzano , nel confronto con il concorrente Samsung : 1) il software samsung è maggiormente completo e fornisce funzionalità che crucial demanda ad altri software (acronis per esempio ) 2) un maggiore consumo di Ampere rispetto a Samsung ( e su pc portatili questo fatto penalizza il crucial).
