These Crucial SSD drives are the best way to upgrade an older slow device that been upgraded to Win10. Its the 3rd one that Ive put into 3-4yr old laptops and it speeds up Win10 like nothing else can. Rip that 5400 RPM spinning disk out and get one of these! (Having 6-8GB of RAM does help too) The downloadable Acronis Drive cloning software works great and is pretty straight forward. Install the downloadable Crucial management software as well, good to upgrade firmware, turn on speed features, etc. Crucial has always been solid, not super sexy speedy, but reliable for everyday devices.

No problems, very easy to format and install

So my parents laptop (an old Acer around 6 years old) was getting slow. They asked me if I could make it faster... I simply bought this SSD from Amazon - 1 day shipping!

Bought this for my moms 2012 MacBook pro as a Christmas gift, and installed it for her. Also bought a SATA cable as well, and used SuperDuper to move the hard drive contents over before physically installing. Other than time, this was as easy as it could be. Hopefully no issues down the road. The computer doesnt see heavy use, so Im hoping no problems.

On my MacBook Pro from 2012 I did struggle to get the Ssd recognised. I replaced the hard drive cable and it fixed the issue.

Vom Einschalten bis zum Anmeldung dauert es ca17 Sekunden und weitere 17 Sekunden bis zur Betriebsbereitschaft. Die Programme starten und schließen zügig und laufen rund. Diese Investition hat sich für mich jedenfalls gelohnt.
