> 3 dayThe m.2 is amazing loading games 3x faster and start up/ shut downs are juatvas quick. Highly recommend this one or high capacity. The lower m.2 500gb or lower have a slower speed but will still be much more noticeable the a standard drive. No rating for install i did not install it myself.

Greater than one weekWorks well with macOS. Installed this in my wife’s 2017 MacBook Air with an NVME to SATA PCIe adapter. To reinstall macOS on the new drive had to boot up with Command + Option + R in order to use internet recovery with Big Sur (allows you to pull up the latest comparable macOS for the machine - since you need to have an OS that recognized the NVMe right from startup). I’ve also been using two of these as the ZLOG & L2ARC cache drives for my OpenZFS on macOS RAIDZ filing system for work. Partitioned each drive so 10GB was for logs (likely too big I know) and the balance of the drive was for ZFS cache, then mirrored each partition with the other on the 2nd drive. They’ve been working really well for about the past 6 months - so I’ll highly recommend for anyone upgrading NVMe drives for macOS.

> 3 dayIts fast enough for a casual everyday user on a desktop. Some reason I only get 838 GB. I understand 1 TB is 931 GB but Im not sure where the other 93 GB went.
