During gaming and other demanding programs, the SSD crashes the laptop with a bad block error. From what Ive read online this is somewhat common and might be heat-related.

Installed on my 2015 macbook pro retina and works better than the standard. I cant belive apple charges 500 for the Same storage and lower speeds

Havent got the system running so far but the product details sticker seem to be coming off removing which will void warranty. They should have used better adhesive :(

This drive was OK for a while, then it became nearly impossible to copy files from it without crashing. Not worth the trouble. Youll need to reboot your computer over and over again when you need to access the drive for any length of time.

Crucial P1 1TB 3D NAND NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD - CT1000P1SSD8 is a very fast drive. And it comes with Acronis True Image cloning software. I have not done any benchmarks, but compared to my old Intel drive, it is faster.
