Crucial RAM 64GB Kit (2x32GB) DDR5 4800MHz CL40 Laptop Memory CT2K32G48C40S5

My Acer Predator Helios ph317-56-70xj came with Samsung 2x8gb 4800 MHz, so I upgraded to this 2x16gb 4800 MHz. I could have gone up to 2x32gb 5600MHz, but my gaming is not that intense so I decided to try the 32 gb at 4800 first. The system recognizes it and it seems fine, so Ill give it five stars. The RAM is under the square silver thing if youre looking for it. You have to unscrew one screw to get to it and then it just pulls up and off.

The laptop only came with 8GB RAM, so more was needed for more instense games and better multi-tasking. Looked up compatible memory on the Crucial website and found these. Two individual was cheaper than a two pack. Got two, put them in and with 32GB or RAM everything works better. Work great and fast DDR5.

Works as advertised. Easy to install. Now have 24GB RAM since 8GB is soldered to the motherboard.

I ordered 2 sticks of 16gb ram for my brand new MSI GE67hx. Unfortunately neither stick worked for me. I’m not sure the odds of getting two defective sticks but I’m exchanging them for replacement sticks of the same ones. Once I try them I’ll update this review if they work. I have no idea why they wouldn’t work as customer service replied to someone with the same laptop and said they were compatible. I’ll cross my fingers for the new sticks otherwise I’m not sure what brand I’ll use.

This Ram runs excellent & is easy to install. Upgraded my 16gb to 32gb in less than 10min. It is always cheaper to purchase storage & memory rather than have the manufacturer charge you 200% for a factory build...

This kit was a great upgrade and perfect fit for my Lenovo Thinkpad T15p Gen 3. Everything works much better since I upgraded, and I didnt see any issue with those memory stick either. Gaming has also improved a lot, so was the use of Photoshop.

Esta memoria funcionó muy bien en la XPS. 9720. De hecho quedó con 40 GB puesto que me acepto usar la de 32 con la de 8 del otro slot. Yo uso la computadora para aplicaciones de ingeniería/arquitectura. Recomendación: instalar siguiendo un procedimiento adecuado para no dañarla. Yo encontré un video en YouTube específico para mi laptop y lo único que agregué fue usar guantes de látex para evitar alguna descarga de estática. Obvio los técnicos tienen pulseras especiales para eso, pero es su trabajo. Uno puede simplificar de este modo.

Installed two (2) 32 GB Ram to my ROG strix Scar 15 (2022) having a total of 64 GB ( 63.7 usable ram to be more specific) just amazing!!

I am sad I had to return this memory, as of now I believe it was a laptop issue, thus the 4 stars. I knocked one star off just in case this memory was actually faulty and knocked out he laptop. I figured even if the memory is faulty the laptop designers are at fault for not building in enough protection. It worked for 1 boot cycle than didnt work after that. Then I returned to the OEM memory which worked for 1 more day, before the laptop died.

Crucial and Amazon stand behind the products, but buying quality RAM to put in a Dell will get you a support run around. Be confident in your ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues before saving the money, because Dell will not help you if there are any questions related to 3rd party RAM, even when its top quality RAM and guaranteed compatible like Crucial is.
