Id seen mixed messages about whether this would work in Dell laptops (Vostro 7620 in my case.) First boot after installation took a few minutes before booting up, just as a couple other reviewers had mentioned it would. Afterwards and since, its been great, and no more low-on-memory messages while working with tons of apps open while doing CAD work.

I ordered 64GB (2x32GB) for my 6900HX (mobile pc), and it works phenomenally. My previous system was a 5900HX with 32GB RAM, which was fast. My new build is even snappier. This RAM benches above the average with the same processor configurations.

My Acer Predator Helios ph317-56-70xj came with Samsung 2x8gb 4800 MHz, so I upgraded to this 2x16gb 4800 MHz. I could have gone up to 2x32gb 5600MHz, but my gaming is not that intense so I decided to try the 32 gb at 4800 first. The system recognizes it and it seems fine, so Ill give it five stars. The RAM is under the square silver thing if youre looking for it. You have to unscrew one screw to get to it and then it just pulls up and off.

As many would have encountered that other RAM sticks, either with CL38 or faster frequency, will not boot entirely. This is due to the fact that the sanity check on RAM for DDR5 is more strict. And some RAM sticks require XMP (Intel) or DOCP (AMD) profile to be activated to work properly. The profile is essentially a RAM overclocking. However, most non-gaming, even some of the gaming laptops, will not accept overclocking. For instance, my XPS 17 9720, with the 12th gen, will not take other RAMs. However, this one set works well. And the set also works well in my neighbors Blade 15. Therefore, if you are considering upgrading your laptop, and see no BIOS settings for RAM overclocking, you best shot would be this.

Easy to install, does take about 5 minutes after you install them for the Bios to do a check on first boot up. I was prompted from the dell bios that the memory has been upgraded. Works like a charm and makes my Dell lightening fast with multi tasking.

The is 100% compatible with the M16 2022 model. I have the BestBuy 3070 Ti that comes with 8GB solder, 8GB replaceable. I took out the 8, put in the 16 and the laptop booted up no issue. CPU-Z reports 24GB usable and its in 4x32bit (Quad channel) configuration meaning even with mismatched ram sizes, you still get QUAD channel. Each DDR5 stick is dual channel itself. Not sure what happens if you go over 16, if it follows ddr4, likely youll get dual channel from GBs 16-24 for ddr5.
