> 3 dayOur 12 Month old greatly struggled with constipation. She would cry every single bowel movement, which were once every three days with a suppository, and her stool was still hard, like solidified play dough consistency. I was deeply worried for her, and it pained me seeing her go through this much pain everytime she needed to pass a bowel movement. We gave her this probiotic, starting with about 1/2 packet and she slowly started regular bowel movements, and the consistency of her stool is soo much softer. This product is truly a Godsend. If you all are looking for a natural product, and not miralax, please give this a try.

> 3 dayI have used these for myself during pregnancy and most importantly, for my 3 yr old LO. He has struggled with painful stools and began holding in his stools due to the fear of the pain he was feeling during a BM. I poured one packet in his drink this AM (we used a nutritional chocolate milk- shook very well and it dissolved nicely!!!) and within 2ish hours he had 2 soft BM’s in a row!!! It sounds funny, but it is a dream come true for a momma that worries about her LO and wants to help, but in this situation I was feeling helpless until we tried these fiber packets!!!

> 3 dayOur kid has struggled with regularity, mostly because he refuses to eat either fruits or vegetables OR drink juice. Hes peculiar, and it leads to difficulties with pooping. We had been trying the fiber gummies but then he went through a couple weeks where he wouldnt eat them at all. So I began looking for other options. We first tried this about a month ago, using one pack per day, and while I havent seen him pooping more regularly (he goes every 2-3 days usually), he does seem to struggle less -- there have been fewer tears, the poops are less chunky and while firm, a more consistent consistency (sorry, cant think of how to say that better), and there has been less strain on his anus (in the past, after a particularly difficult or chunky poop, there would sometimes be a little blood where it had to stretch too far). We are going to try another month of the Culturelle to see if the trend continues, and I may up the dosage to twice a day to see if there is any change. Some other parents complained about the powder not fully dissolving and that their kid wouldnt drink it. We havent had any issues in that regard, but our son is used to powders in his milk. Weve used a toddler supplement powder to help ensure hes getting nutrients during especially picky phases, and I also crush up his chewable vitamin into his milk (he doesnt like eating them, and gummy vitamins dont usually have iron) so there hasnt been a problem with him drinking the Culturelle. Now Ive only ever added it to milk -- not juice or water -- so I dont know if that helps mask the flavor or the graininess, or if my kid is just truly a champ at drinking powdery milk. :P UPDATE: Since one pack of powder alone was not really giving us the results we were hoping for, we tried adding back in fiber gummies to his diet along with one packet of Culturelle a day and its been working great! His poops are more consistent, smaller in size (because hes not getting so backed up before he goes), and there have been almost no tears at all. If one pack of Culturelle a day isnt working for you and you dont like the expense of doing 2 or more packets, try adding in the fiber gummies; Lil Critter brand is 45 days worth for about $7.

> 3 dayThe product is very good. The only fault I see is that some of the individual packets come almost empty. I have been buying this product for a few years now. At first this did not happen but as of a few months back this is always happening. I hope they read this review and look into the matter.

20-11-2024Use this if your kid is on antibiotics frequently!! I’m writing for parents of kids with a similar issue to mine: my 5 yo had perianal discomfort / itchiness daily, for months. It was internally (the canal) not externally so with testing we were able to rule out perianal strep, yeast, pinworms, and hygiene. She was checked for fissures (none) and she wasn’t constipated. We started cutting out foods that we thought she might have developed an allergy to (it wasn’t that). At my wits end, I ordered this product, although she had no issues passing BM regularly, I figured it couldn’t hurt. Within 36 hours, the itchiness disappeared. We saw a GI specialist. It turns out she had a bacterial overgrowth due to having been on antibiotics 5-6 times in 12 months (for repeated ear infections and strep). This probiotic replenished the good bacteria in her gut and resolved the issue. We have her on it daily, and the issue hasn’t returned.

> 3 dayMy 3 year old toddler has chronic constipation. Regular for him means going every 3 days. If we’re lucky, it will be every two. When we’re not, a week may pass. We’ve been using the regular Culturelle daily along with Benefiber, opting not to do Miralax daily. Eating grapes everyday got him to become more regular, but after some tummy issues last weekend, he hadn’t gone for a week despite Miralax the last few days. I finally convinced him to eat some oatmeal with Culturelle Regularity. He went within the hour without much of a fuss. What a relief - for all of us! We’ve used it before, but this time, I’m convinced!!! I’ve tried hiding it in yogurt, but sometimes it climbs funny so he knows it’s there. The oatmeal’s texture makes it way easier to hide. Update - June 2019. My son is constipated again. Has only gone a tiny amount in the last 9 days. Ive used this and Miralax, but he keeps holding it. Sigh. Just waiting and hoping this kicks in,

> 3 daySo I am horrible because I never write reviews but this product I just had to because it is a miracle product! As a mom of a 22 month old, we’ve been struggling together to help her pass hard stools since she turned 1. She would have a BM every 2-3 days and each time she would struggle so hard to the point of hair drenched in sweat and crying for like 30 mins to an hour trying to pass a bowel. I felt so bad because I could not help her but just watch and soothe her. In addition she is not eating fruits and veggies like she should so she is not getting her fiber source. We’ve also tried fiber gummies but soon enough she realized the taste of vitamin gummies vs candy gummies so she would refuse taking them. When I found out about this product and how it is in powder form and flavorless I thought I give it a try. I didn’t want to start my daughter on any medications to help regulate her BM at this point. It has been 4 weeks and she has had soft, mushy stool. I don’t even known when she is doing her thing because it is so much easier to pass. I give her one packet a day with her milk and she doesn’t even realize the product. I’ve already purchased a second box and will cont to do so.

> 3 dayMy 18 month old has had issues since she was switched to milk from formula. Over time it worsened and she was only having a bowel movement every 3 days, and it was hard for her to go when she did. I started off with only 1 a day, but 3 are allowed. Somedays shed need 2 but eventually shed go. I also pushed water. Eventually I switched her to almond milk too, and these were no longer needed as often. I would definitely recommend these if your little ones suffering the same issues as mine was.

> 3 dayIll try to make it short! My daughter had problems with constipation for 3 years basically ever since she was born until we havent discovered this product. Before shed poop 15 times in a day little bit by little and shes extremely picky on food and we tried EVERYTHING but didnt help UNTIL WE DISCOVERED THIS. Shes taking it twice per day one time in AM one time in evening and now her stool is regular. She goes poop once per day now regularly and no more pushing so hard. In our case this product has helped alot!!!
