Beyond expectations for price. My last ball of same part has well over 80,000 miles! The unfinished metal will rut if you don’t cover and grease it but this is a great ball.

I purchased and paid extra for the stainless steel ball to stop rust. I had the ball for 2 weeks, it was not on the vehicle that entire time, the shank was covered with rust. I called Curt Industries, after shufling me 3 times from answering, to customer service, to technical support, they told me the ball is not stainless steel, it is only covered with stainless steel and it was going to rust. They told me to return it.

I work for a contractor in the Northwest. We had some issues with our dump trailer, tow weight, the current hitch assembly on the company truck, etc. In short, easy to install (you probably know this, but check your truck capacity and hitch assembly weight capacity), great value for the money, absolutely worth it.
