This ball is exactly what I needed. The weight capacity fits the requirements of my equipment trailer.

The trailer ball is of good quality. Worked great for my needs.

Great ball, but came with a 10 cent zinc nut. Poor quality on the nut.

This thing is a beast. I tow a skid steer and mini ex daily and the old one wore out in no time. This thing can handle some serious abuse!

it has the strength rating that i have been looking for . the finish is of raw steel . just have to keep it oiled.

I bought this as used which is fine since its a 30,000 trailer ball but it did not come with a nut. If it had said missing parts I would have known that the nut was missing and ordered one or bought a different one. I went to three stores to get a 1 1/4 nut and no one has one. This is the strongest ball I can find and its only slightly more expensive than others. It is bare steel and will immediately rust so I spray painted mine black and then greased it. I also use a rubber ball cap when unhitched. My only complaint is that there are no flat spots on the sides for holding it while tightening to 450 ft-lbs. You have to use a pipe wrench to hold it which works fine but does leave marks. It seems all the newer balls omit the flat spots. I guess it cost a few cents extra to have them machined.
