CushCore Tyre Insert Set

> 24 hourInstallation was much easier than I expected. It took 30 mins to install front and rear and did not require and exotic tools or effort. I think the key is not to use a brand new tire. My tires had been ridden a couple of times first so the beads had been loosened up. They went on very easily and I just used a cheap plastic tire lever for the last little bit.

> 24 hourAt first, the performance benefits are awesome, but the insert quickly stretches out and loses lots of the sidewall support that makes it so awesome. After about a month of riding, the insert no longer sits tightly on the rim and is very loose. This also makes installing it much harder. After contacting Cuchcore, they said it is just time for a new cushcore. Lasting this long makes cuschore insanely expensive.

> 24 hourCame in good condition. Installed fine. Pretty expensive, but I don’t want flats or rim strikes and I’m bigger than your typical mountain biker so this is super helpful.

> 24 hourWatched all the videos about this product before installing. Even with the videos, I wasn’t able to successfully install either of Cush Cores. Found the product too tight around the rim to have any room to properly install the tire bead. After trying to install them for 3 hours I finally gave up. The material is good quality and I’m sure if I was able to install them they would work well.

> 24 hourThese provide much better cornering traction for my setup. A little difficult to install on my asymmetrical rims, but not impossible. Completely worth the $.

> 24 hourHigh Rock Ruti I have a Pivot Shuttle e-bike replaced the rear tire from 27.5 plus 2.8 to 2.6 for better turning, replaced the front wheel 27.5 plus to 29 for better roll over. Worked except the ride became harsh, added cushcore to both tires and reduced tire pressure 8 or 10 pounds bike rides really plush now and almost no squirm (tire bending over in turns) I have square edged a few times no pinch flats yet, very happy rider

> 24 hourIm a 185lbs rider with a 160/140mm travel bike in Arizona, and Im fairly aggressive downhill. After cracking a carbon rim in the rear despite running a 29x2.5 Aggressor at 23psi, and bending an aluminum rim + pinch flatting the 27.5x2.8 Nobby Nic at 18psi, I decided to just pony up for Cushcore. Well, I wont be breaking any more rims. I accidentally dropped my plus tires to 7psi (was playing with pressures on new Rekons) and sent it down a hill, setting my second fastest time despite all the drag. No rim damage, no rear squirm, and no worries.
