The manufacturers claims are true. From the first ride, the tires felt like they are solid rubber, absorbing small or large bumps a lot more and resulting in less bounce, which means more time touching the ground and thus getting back in full traction faster. Its not a 50% improvement but maybe a 20% improvement, which, to me, is a big deal. I didnt notice any slow down when accelerating or additional strain going uphill, i.e. the weight doesnt seem to be an issue. I am an avid and almost intermediate biker, dont do anything crazy or fast but my local trails can be really gnarly with plenty of roots. Regarding the price, if that results in having 0-2 tires replaced instead of 2-3 per year, then it more than pays off.

Terrible experience using cushcore on my rear tire. I had a terrible accident on a long jumping downhill the tire dont roll good speed or accelerate very bad, damping very bad, the bike feels heavy stamped on the jumps, like flat tire all the time. I prefer to brake the rim but not myself. I recommend to use a good dh casing tires with normal tubeless or a regular tube with anti puncture band for dh racing. I think cush core is only good to go slow on rocks or people who dont like to jump and protect carbon rims. I heard that tannus tubeless could be a good option and its between to use tube and cushcore because, because you have more air on the tire, but never tried. Conclusion: If you like to jump, never use cush core for your safety, if you dont jump its ok to use it.

Get these for your bike yesterday! Cushcore provides a great ride feel and you can run your tires at lower pressures. I can finally drop my pressure and not roll my tires.

Its cool. Im using it in a full rigid (hard tail and rigid fork) cross-country bike.

I bought CuchCore to try to protect my brand new bike wheel. Within the first 2 miles of my first ride, I got a rim strike and flat tire. Upon further inspection I found the mark in CushCore where it caved in (see pictures), and allowed my rim to be damaged to the point that it will not hold air with a tubeless tire. I weight 210 lbs, and set pressure at 30 psi on my 29x2.3 tire on a intermediate-level trail. For what the raw material is, this product is severely overpriced. I would not recommend.

As expected, not the easiest to install so watch the YouTube videos and it just takes a bit of effort. Put them on both mountain bike and love running lower pressure for grip and no worries about pinch flats. Not cheap but when youre $4k in a bike its worth the investment plus I saw at least 10 people with flats at the bike park last weekend

After reading the horror stories I was dreading the install. It went surprising easy with the bead dropper tool. Watch the install video and soap everything up good. Now the most important part, how do they work? In a word AWESOME! They really settled down my bike on the hard packed trails. True to its design theyre a suspension product. Tire grip is amazing now, especially as the tire gets on an edge. Off camber stuff is where its the most noticeable.

These have worked well to protect my 1200$ rims. great customer service as well. My installer couldnt get them balanced, the company was contacted and sent out a new pair no questions asked. The installation was not hard for the guy who did it, took about 10 minutes. used alot of soap

Incredible! Helps protect and gives you a little more squish. I have them on both of my bikes, front and back.
