> 3 dayDecided to fit these after the tyre lost air on a tight turn pushing out the sealant and me on the deck at 20mph hopefully it won’t happen again.

> 3 dayThey are impossible to get your tire off the wheel once installed without serious risk in damaging your carbon rims. I had to CUT a new tire and the CushCore off in order to get the tire off my Mavic carbon rims. The risk of damage was so great that that is what I was forced to do. ALL to resolve a air leak on my tubeless wheelset.

Greater than one weekYes, they are relatively heavy (1lb per set); yes, they are a bit tough to install... However, completely worth the piece of mind and comfort!! Im running 5-7psi less than before, Im taking corners with zero slip/twist. 100% worth the investment and 100% more confident during the ride.

> 3 dayArticolo utile per chi pratica mtb su terreni rocciosi o molto sassosi. Montaggio abbastanza laborioso, ma seguendo le istruzioni e lubrificando molto bene il cushcore si installa più facilmente.

> 3 dayMy son rides these, but here is what he has had to say about them after 3 moths of ridding bike parks, and fairly aggressive downhill (Nothing Redbull rampage crazy or anything, just black and double black diamond trails with 2-4 foot drops, loose rocks, roots, etc) he rides pretty aggressively and before using Cushcore, he went through two rims in about 2 months--both times, he had adequate tire pressure, he just landed on a rock perfectly and dented the rims. Since using Cushcore, he has ridden far more aggressively (and had far worse landings) with no additional damage. Whats even better, though is that he now rides much lower pressure and sears up and down that his bike handles far better, too. (Makes sense considering the lower pressure). They seem a little heavy to me, but hes happy to pedal up long climbs with them in exchange for the peace of mind he has now. Ill probably buy some for my bike as well.

> 3 dayI love the fact that I can run WAY lower pressure in my tires, especially running 29x2.6s. Currently installed on 32mm wide rims, so I had to get the CushCore Pro to allow for the wide tires but difference between CushCore and no inserts is night and day. I really didnt want to have to pay an additional weight penalty, 2.6 wide tires AND the heavy version of CushCore, but the amount of traction available is definitely worth it! The biggest gripe I have is that the inserts were the biggest pain I have ever had to deal with in terms of bike maintenance. Ive seen all of the hacks and cheats and easy methods of installing CushCore, but in real life they were a huge pain. I found it a little easier to have one side of the tire on the rim already and then squeeze the CushCore in through the other side of the tire. Its definitely not easy to push the tire bead into the rim channel once the CushCore in on the rim so I got as much of the tire on the rim before dealing with the CushCore. All said, I would get CushCore again and I would recommend it to anyone who rides mountain bikes. I havent tried any of the other brands but Im also a firm believer in you get what you pay for and I will pay the premium price if the product has a good reputation, CushCore has the reputation that I will gladly pay for. I am just a regular consumer so I dont get hand-outs and I would love for the cost to be lower but until the day comes when CushCore goes on sale Ill still buy at consumer prices.

02-06-2025Sure, the install is tough - but the online videos did a great job of explaining how to do it right, minimizing the frustration. Its definitely easier with an extra set of hands (thanks wifey!). Once installed, the improvement to my ride was game changing. Really nice to be able to confidently ride with low PSI and get all that extra traction without fear of burping or losing a bead. I can see why folks really love these things - they make such a big difference!

> 3 dayHigh Rock Ruti I have a Pivot Shuttle e-bike replaced the rear tire from 27.5 plus 2.8 to 2.6 for better turning, replaced the front wheel 27.5 plus to 29 for better roll over. Worked except the ride became harsh, added cushcore to both tires and reduced tire pressure 8 or 10 pounds bike rides really plush now and almost no squirm (tire bending over in turns) I have square edged a few times no pinch flats yet, very happy rider

> 3 dayIve wanted a set of these for a while and finally decided to install them when I upgraded tires. They are a PAIN to get your tires seated back on the wheel, but they add a noticeable amount of extra cushion and peace of mind. It will take a while to put them on but theyre worth it.
