These straps are very durable and easy to use, I use them to tie stuff down in the back of my truck. Luggage when on a road trip or furniture. They look cool too!

These are bomb proof. Used them for years. Just to be safe, even they show no signs of visible wear, I get a new pair every time I get a new surfboard. Thats because several years ago I had a Thule strap that was similar, and the aluminum buckle actually broke, so Im just extra cautious.

Easily the best tie-down straps for your boards. These are wider than average and the clamps are very high quality. Ive put these things through a season of rugged testing in Central America and they hands down are the best ones I have, compared to my FCS straps. Bought another set to have a backup. This is the second set Ive bought. They are the BEST STRAPS EVER. Super durable, strong, quality materials and easy to use. I use them to tie down 3 surfboards and 1 standup paddle board on the top of my Tacoma and they work perfectly every time. They never loosen or slip. The padding under the buckle is great and protects my boards from the buckle itself. I like how wide the straps are too. Highly recommend them. You cant go wrong with Dakine.

Everything is great about this system if you like pull throughs. The quality and durability are there. The neoprene padding works extremely well. However, its one piece pull through, so you have to fish 12 of strap through your roof racks and up over your board while keeping the locking part straight and in one place. Translation: youre running around your vehicle trying to get this thing latched up. Since its a pull through and not a ratchet strap system, you can only get it so tight. I have a Yukon so there is a lot of reaching, stretching, pulling, and jumping on and off my bumper half a dozen times. Lol Its totally my fault for not paying closer attention when buying this, but I would have much rathered a 2 piece ratchet strap system that joins in the middle and ratchets really tight with minimal effort.
