An Innocent Bystander
> 3 dayAs a professional full time watercolor painter I have used many brands. But several years ago I switched to DS watercolor. I live in WA state where they are based and so I have access to both DS retail stores in the Seattle area. But I also buy on Amazon when I need one tube quickly. I now only use DS. I have been teaching watercolor painting for 10 years, and I recommend them to my students. We all use DS. I have also taught classes at their retail stores. The pigments are rich and full of color. The binders are good, the colors blend well, and they work well on paper. I use Arches brand paper. DS watercolors work wonderfully on Arches. Yes its expensive paint, the result is well worth it. Cheap materials only yield an inferior painting. Make the Daniel Smith investment. You wont be sorry.

> 3 dayI love Daniel Smith watercolor Paints. When you paint a lot you can really tell the difference in the quality of a product. Daniel Smith Watercolor Paints are transparent and therefore great for layering.

> 3 dayPermanent Alizarin Crimson is a beautiful color by itself or used for mixing. A little goes a long way. It is a dream to paint with.
