I love shadow violet. The pigments are PO73, PB29, PG18. Beautiful granulation. I love how the pigments separate out. So pretty.

Love this product!

Sodalite is like ground up blue jeans...very dark, very grainy, very blue. How does it get any better than that? I usually mix it with French Ultramarine, or sometimes add it to staining colors to give them some texture. This does not have the tinting power of a pthalo blue (thank goodness--that stuff is evil) but I like it a lot. If you like granulating watercolors, give this a try.

You would think that it cost so much money for a ridiculously small tube that it would be good right? The color is gorgeous when its wet but nasty looking when it dries. Wont be getting it again. Feel like i wasted my money

Daniel Smith makes great paint and this is a terrific color for buildings and toning down other colors.

Moonglow is a brilliant mix of 3 pigments that creates a wonderful watercolor paint that can add a dramatic quality to any painting. Definitely something to be added to ones palette if you like darker colors.

As an artist, my daughter was very excited to get several Daniel Smith items for gifts this holiday.
