> 24 hourDue to moving the dresser from point A to point B, the dresser has a large triangle piece that is missing from the top of the dresser. This product filled the piece. The product is easy to sand and now I can easily stain or paint the dresser for a better complete look. Now should I paint it harlequin, Picasso, or browish blonde old-fashioned or maybe Martha Stwart chrome? Suggestions welcome. I have no style.

> 24 hourThis stuff is great. Got brand new wood furniture and I tried to open one of the drawers and didn’t realize each drawer had a separate lock and I was trying to open the drawer and the lock caused a chip. The wood latex stuff was easy to use and patched the chip and you can’t even notice it!

> 24 hourI never tried DAP wood filler before but decided to give it a try. It works good for my needs. A little gritty but spreads good and cleans up nice.

> 24 hourI needed some wood filler to fix the bottom edge on one corner of a vertical wood trim piece sitting on the concrete floor just in front of my garage door, where animals had chewed out an opening to enter the garage. Ive always used the thick type of wood filler that comes in a small can, but decided to try this plastic wood filler because it was white, the same color as the painted wood piece I was repairing. While I eventually was able to build up enough filler to take care of the problem, it took many applications of a small amount of filler because its consistency was thinner than I expected. So each application of a small amount had to dry overnight to be able to add more fill to eventually create a vertical edge and fill the opening of about half an inch in width. The consistency was really too soft and runny for what I was trying to do. I think the traditional type of wood filler would have worked better as it is much thicker. This material is more like the consistency of silicone caulking, so it has a tendency to drip/run very slowly downward when applied to create a vertical edge. It should be OK in a horizontal application. Also, when dried, I would that this material is not as hard as the traditional type of wood filler.

> 24 hourWe are renovating and used this for filling holes in the wood. It is easy to apply, paints well. It does shrink, but not quickly. We waited a week to paint over it to make sure it was dry, and two months later, we are seeing shrinkage. Now we have small nail hole divots all over our doorframes.

> 24 hourI was split over whether to choose the white or wood brown. I chose the white. After filling the hole with a Popsicle stick, I filled the remainder with the DAP, sanded it after it dried and painted over it. The paint absorption was perfect and nobody sees any hole there now.

> 24 hourI have been using this wood filler for several years. We completely gutted the house we bought. Redid the inside from the studs out. This has worked extremely well when finishing the trim work. Also, have used the natural color to finish Natural Cedar walls we put in. It does shrink a small bit when it has dried, so I usually apply a second and rarely a third application before applying the finish seal on the wood. If I’m not happy with the color blend after the wood filler has dried, I used a colored pencil to touch up the wood filler to match before sealing.

> 24 hourIt’s pretty soft and liquid and is great to fill in the edge of plywood if you are painting the wood. Worked great!
