Darn Tough Merino Wool Boot Sock Full Cushion

Good socks as my feet do not sweat yet did not keep them warm as expected.

I wore Smartwool for years! Year round comfort and wearability, but they changed. These are better, more comfortable, cushioning. I love how my feet breathe and stay warm or cool during that season. This sock is phenomenal. Its comfortable, durable, warm and breathable, and its made in the USA. The construction is so advanced that I feel a little bit like an astronaut every time I put a pair on; and with its perfectly placed, beefy cushioning, I havent suffered a single foot injury/malady since I started wearing these things (I tend to get terrible blisters whenever I hike). 11/10 - Easily one of the best products Ive ever purchased.

Definitely not worth the hype and not true to its advertisement. It took 3 weeks to receive in the mail, because it was shipped from China, so definitely NOT MADE IN AMERICA!!! Its quality is meh! Its super-thin and not made for hiking boots, especially when cold. Feels more like a dress sock. I can hardly feel any cushion in front of or behind the heel. For what I paid for one pair, I could have bought a 6-pack of REAL cushioned boot socks from Dickies. Im sticking to Ducks Unlimited, whose heavy merino wool boot socks are well cushioned and warm, and ACTUALLY American-made! The ONLY good thing about it so far is that the Chinese-factory robot machines stitched it correctly, but it doesnt feel like a merino wool sock. Like I said, more like a dress sock. These are over-priced sausage casings. One-star for badly under-performing. BOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Oh man, a whole different animal. Great fit, comfy, and a lifetime warranty. Gonna buy 2 more and never have to buy socks again. (add pairs of exffico underwear and you will feel like a whole new man.)

I bought two pairs of these for backpacking. I was told they were the best and dont like messing around with my feet. Got them and they are perfect. My feet stayed dry and blister-free on a 3 day, 20-mile hike in the 95-degree Kentucky heat. No complaints here, me and my feet were happy. Will absolutely continue to use these whenever I hike.

It will take some time to know if these are as bulletproof as the manufacturer claims, but after a week of wear (I washed them, dont worry), they have proven to be supremely comfortable, warm, and supportive. The socks stay around your calf, and there is no excess material, as I have found smart wool socks to have. Ill update this review after more time wearing the socks, but they have proven to be excellent so far.

My husband has been wearing wool socks for many years and his beloved brand is no longer available. We have purchased many other brands in the last few years and so far this is the brand for him. They are holding up beautifully, no holes, no stretching just a good long wearing sock
