These are junk, do yourself a favor and buy more expensive ones. out of the 10, 3 of them had dead shorts and cost me about 2 hrs trying to figure out where it was.

These Daykit 12V quick disconnect ends are great for adding accessories to your car, truck, boat or motorcycle. They really simplify the wiring connections, as you do your wiring first, attach your accessory, then just plug it in. Note: These are NOT waterproof connections and should be placed in areas that will not be exposed to the elements (or you can waterproof them with some spray on electrical tape). 12V systems do funny things when they get wet. They dont always blow a fuse. So, insulation is important. I like these connectors. I am using them on my motorcycle for adding halogen driving lights, a power port, an electronic tuning device, LED lighting and more. This is a good purchase. Five stars.

Worked like a charm. Tested polarity and it was as described. Using this to rig my battery powered trashcan to be powered from a wall plug instead. It defintely did the trick.

Just OK, because the screws are difficult to get tight on stranded cable, so that the wire won’t pull out.

Used the connectors to create a multiple voltage output power supply.

If you like playing with automotive LEDs and 12V power supplies, these make a real nice standard for your tool kits. They are also the standard coupling for home security camera power as well.

One was dead on arrival, so I wasted an hour troubleshooting why my LEDs wouldnt work. You get what you pay for I guess. The other 4-5 sets I used out of the 10 worked fine. These were for a low budget LED setup under the kitchen counters. I decided to use these so in the future I could easily replace strips of LEDs if needed. Edit: Customer service offered to send out a replacement for the one that didnt work.
