This a good solution for wiring a camera while minimizing the amount of wires.

These connectors are so easy to install for building extension cables for my foldable solar panels to my solar controller for my LifePo4 battery. My solar generator has these DC ports and I have used them to create various links like battery clips and Anderson Powerpole links. Be sure to use with some Heatshrink for a good looking connection.

Initially thought these were decent, but one had a short and nearly started a fire.

Ive used it to connect batteries to projects mostly. Makes it easy to disconnect or switch between power supply and batteries.

This product makes it easy to hook up your cat5e to a home security system. The only thing I dont like is the wire is so brittle when you move it around a little bit the wire breaks often and very easy. I am now going to use a different product and just make network cables for the ends. Great Idea just not for me.

It was easy to cut off the broken plug, prepare the wires and attach this plug. Plug is sturdy and solved our flickering problem.

As some have noted, the wire clamp screws can be a bit finicky, but if you prepare the wire ends properly and maybe even tin them up a bit they work fine. Thats the only reason I held back one star. At this price I think thats a very reasonable compromise, Im not expecting aircraft grade connectors for <$1!

If you like playing with automotive LEDs and 12V power supplies, these make a real nice standard for your tool kits. They are also the standard coupling for home security camera power as well.
