12-06-2025Our doctor sent in a prescription to our pharmacy for some infant oral vitamin d that was total garbage (one dose was a huge amount for her at 1ml, full of preservatives, vitamin d was 8th on the list of ingredients, and it contained butterscotch flavoring... yuck). I felt terrible at the idea of giving something with artificial flavoring in it to my exclusively breastfed 3w old infant, and shocked those would be prescribed by our dr. After hearing other parents recommendations, and what their pediatricians recommended, I decided to order these. These drops pretty much taste and smell like nothing, only require one tiny drop, and have just 2 straightforward ingredients! Only downside is that the dropper can be kind of tricky for my partner and he sometimes accidentally does more than one drop and has to start a new bottle (I find it easy to get one drop because the dropper is similar to essential oil bottles Ive used). Ill save the other drops with flavoring in them for when my baby is over 6mos, and Ill definitely be reordering these.

> 3 dayI like that it only takes a drop to get all the vitamins that are needed.

> 3 dayLove these! I bought the D-Vi-Sol from pharmacy and you have to give baby 1ml instead of 1 drop and baby hated the amount of liquid. I am only breastfeeding from breast so no bottles to mix it in. The D-Vi-Sol also smelled like it would taste awful. This vitamin D is so much easier (less liquid; put drop right on nipple before feeding). The drop will run right off nipple if you don’t get baby on quickly though. And you just hold bottle upside down for a drop to fall out without shaking or squeezing. Sometimes, it takes several seconds for the drop to fall, sometimes it’s instant. Baby gets a little antsy when it takes a little longer. Overall, great product. We have never had any bloodwork for baby’s vitamin D level, so can’t say how well it absorbs in body.

> 3 dayWe got this to replace the Enfamil D-Vi-Sol product that is the standard you get at a pharmacy and it is perfect. The Enfamil stuff is junk, just read the ingredient list and ask yourself why a newborn cares what color it is, what flavor it has and why the number one ingredient is glycerol, basically fake sugar. Now the Ddops just has one thing other than the vitamin D, it uses refined coconut oil as the solution to put the vitamin in instead of glycerol. Nothing else, no fake color or flavoring, no ploysorbate 80 whatever that is, just coconut oil and Vitamin D. And you just need one drop, not a huge eye dropper full to the brim. And for the size of the bottle, yes it does not come full. If it did you would have a several year supply! Remember the dose is one drop, not one ml like the others. The packaging in several places states that this should not be full and just the bottom 1/4 or so should be, so as long as it is sealed you did not get a dud. And finally, if you are looking at this you are most likely doing it because you just want the vitamin, not the extra junk that just makes it look like you are giving a full dose, give this product a try.

> 3 dayI have been using this Ddrops for my LO since day 1. My daughter is 15mo now and she is well developing. I will still continue to buy this for her as her pediatrician recommended. My daughter does not have any difficulties when taking these drops at all even though she is scared of taking medicines or anything else other than food. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The only problem that we have is we have to buy at least 2 of them at a time because I feel like the bottle is too small that it is running out too fast.

> 3 dayI love that I can just put one drop on before my baby nurses and she gets the recommended amount of vitamin d. Before this, I was putting it in her bottle and she wouldn’t always finish the whole thing so I didn’t know if she was getting enough. The only downside is that it can be hard to get the drop out of the bottle. And then you have to be careful it doesn’t rub off onto your clothes or the baby before she starts nursing.

> 3 dayVery easy to dispense into a bottle - turning over to drop in a single drop is far faster than the eyedroppers used to measure out a mL of tri-vi-sol. Also seems convenient to be able to give via a finger or on breast if wish to go that route. Really appreciated the minimal ingredients. Lasted us for about 3 months, as advertised. Sometimes the drops came in rapid succession and Id lose a dosage or accidentally administer more than one dose. Pediatrician assured me that it was fine for our child when I voiced my concern - noting that the dose wasnt so high as to cause any overdosing issues.

> 3 dayThis D3’s price is affordable but usage is different than I thought. I thought I should drop to my baby’s mouth directly but I had to use bottle of milk or my breast nipple.
