Dell Alienware 17 Vindicator 2.0 Backpack, Black (AWV17BP-2.0)

I love my new laptop bag. My Alienware 17 fits perfectly. Plenty room for accessories and travel documents. I highly recommend this product and vendor.

To start, it only got 3 stars for traveling due to its size and subsequent weight when fully loaded with said computer and peripherals. Thats not a negative remark, just an observation of the reality. If youre looking for something lightweight and easy to carry, then buy a different computer. Now on to the good stuff. Ive had this backpack for about a year now, and its definitely a high-quality container. Everything my laptop needs fits nicely in the bag, and there are plenty of other pockets for other things you would want a backpack for. To be fair, its a specialized bag, so if youre looking for a multipurpose deal, look elsewhere. But if youve got your sights set on an Alienware laptop and want a way to carry it with you that doesnt involve exposing it to the elements, then this is a golden purchase.

Exactly what I expected for my 17” inch Alienware laptop.

Somehow, this bag manages to be both rugged and sleek. Weight distribution is spot on, and somehow, it manages to make my heavy AW 17 R4 weigh like a regular 15-inch laptop, and thats saying something. Its a bit pricey, sure - but worth every penny.

I had another of this same bag that I purchased from Best Buy in 2018. It lasted 4 years before I started having problems with one zipper coming off the track and tearing the fabric which forced me to get another one. The difference in quality between the one I had previously from Best Buy and the one I just purchased this year in May 2022 from Amazon as a replacement is quite disappointing to say the least. After only having used it for about five months before the first zipper head came off with minimal effort while zipping the outermost pocket closed, the second one on the same pocket came off a week later. I contacted customer support and they agreed to let me send it back and get a replacement. I initially agreed to send it back and get another one, however, I found that the 17 bag is no longer available. So, I contacted customer support again and explained the situation. This time they agreed to give me a $10.00 store credit and to keep the bag, or to send it back for a full refund, but I need a bag in the meantime. So, I decided to keep the bag with the zipper heads missing and tied string to the ends of them so it can still be somewhat functional. However, now a third entire zipper from an interior pocket just came completely off the zipper track and I cannot get it back on. My options now are to keep the bag and use the $10 credit to order some type of zipper repair kit and fix it myself or send it back for a full refund and order a different more expensive bag that is available and can accommodate a 17 laptop. This is some of the worst quality I have ever experienced with Alienware products.

This is a good bag for alienware laptops,specially 17 inches.

Perfect fit for the Alienware 17 R4! (What a beast.) Also has plenty of space for knick-knacks (e.g. pens, mouse, tablet) like a typical laptop bag, so all around a solid option.

This is a very nice bag, I can fit lots of devices and my alienware 17 R1 2014. The only negative thing about this bag is the cover because its very easy to get bumps so the aesthetics compromise a little bit. Im giving 5 star anyway.

I would give it 5 stars but the inside pocket of the main compartment catches everything and now has a tear down one side of the pocket. If I use it just for my Alienware R4 17 inch and accessories it would be great but I load it up 6 cans of monster a 2 liter of Pop and a change of clothes for work everyday
