Product powered up for 3 seconds, then permanently shutdown. Tried everything. Huge waste of time!

I love this item, it is fast and ready to go with quickness. From the time i hit the start button i am logged in and running into my work space in a matter of 20 seconds. I am fortunate to be able to work from home in this pandemic but i needed something that can handle my daily multi tasking needs. I have to use dual monitors for work so this meets my needs. I have connected up to three monitors and it works flawlessly. Currently using dual monitors because i ran out of table space but i am glad i have the option to use a third. I received a refurbished dell computer from SJ computers and immediately after starting it up I was having problems with loading most apps ,I had trouble with the PC just randomly encountering an error and restarting ,this would happen a few times a day. I requested a replacement to be sent and I would return the one I had. All they did was keep calling Me from different numbers and all times of the day and asking Me to fix it. I dont know a lot about computers and They expected Me to do all types of stuff that I really didnt have the time to try and figure out. I assumed They tested these things if They are refurbishing them, I could be wrong. After waiting 4-5 days for them to Email Me a return Shipping label I requested a refund and amazon approved it. I sent it back and got My money back. Would not recommend this seller based on this experience.

This model has everything that is needed. Max ram. Great processor. Fast hard drive.

Ordered two of these PCs to perform some basic functions at my work. The PCs are a good value and currently performing well. Unfortunately, one of the PCs is missing 8gb of RAM. Two of the slots are filled and identified in task manager, so I guess they stuck two 4gb sticks in rather than 8gb. Also, one mouse came with a broken right click.

The seller shipped very quickly and I got it 10 days after ordering (UPS Ground to Alaska). The box was thrashed, but thankfully they did good on packaging and nothing was broken. First thing I did was open the case up. Aside from two dust balls, it looked brand new inside. The blades on the front fan were a bit dirty, but no big deal. Power cord, keyboard, mouse, and usb wifi adapter was included. For those wondering, it is possible to had another hard drive. Mine already had an sata power and sata data cable ran to the spot where one could be placed. Mine did not come with a hard drive tray/caddy. They make one for a 2.5 drive and one for a 3.5 drive. They arent expensive so its not a huge deal. The motherboard has an m.2 slot, which is used by the 256gig drive that comes with the computer. I wasnt expecting that, but its a nice bonus. Mine came with a Toshiba nvme. It also has a Pcie x16 and Pcie x4 slot. One could put a low profile gpu in, but the power supply would likely need to be upgraded as its only rated at 180 watts. It does have a hdmi port which is nice as it saved the cost of having to get a display port to hdmi adapter. The computer turned on immediately and started through the Windows 10 setup. Everything went smoothly and no problem with activation. No issues with Windows Update either, though it did take a little while which is to be expected with the amount of updates (which included a bios/firmware update). All in all, $139 shipped is a good deal, especially when you consider how much the operating system alone costs. I would suggest purchasing another hard drive to put in it, as depending on what youre using it for, the 256gig drive can fill up pretty quickly.

Overall the computer is not bad but it did not come with a wifi adapter, it came with a bluetooth adapter. I had two other issues: After I started the computer and windows loaded it could not update properly. After several hours of restarting and trying to recover and update again, I gave up and downloaded the windows install iso from the microsoft website and that installed and updated just fine in a fraction of the time. The other issue is with adding a graphics card which was supposed to be possible according to the answered questions. I bought a 1050ti graphics card to install but the graphics card requires a PCIe slot and is two slots wide. The PCIe slot in this computer is directly adjacent to the power supply which leaves no room to install the card. If you have a graphics card that is only a single slot width it should fit although that wouldnt really be an upgrade over the built in graphics would it. On the good side, my unit was pretty clean when it arrived, only dirt was the blades on the case fan. It runs quiet and didnt come with all the typical Dell bloatware you get if you buy a computer from Dell. The keyboard was pretty poor but I did have a better one on hand.

I am using this product for a month and was working fine. All the sudden one day it starts booting and say “Alert! Hard drive or optical drive not found.”
