Dell Optiplex 7040 Business SFF Computer Small Tower PC (Intel Core i5-6500, 16GB Ram, 256GB SSD, DVD-RW, WiFi) Win 10 Pro (Renewed)

Bottom end PSU 180w. (Not a good base for gaming upgrade on the cheap) is a Dell server PSU with a power splice to the dvd. The cleaned & wrapped in vinyl to look new(?), As well as an attempted repasting of the CPU... However they didnt clean the old paste off first. First refurb I have ever purchased without obvious fingerprints or dust. Vinyl, I kinda like the touch.. but repasting over old paste is an absolute failure as it adds heat. ( Heat bad). Bent pins on the motherboard. ( Think touching battery jumper cables together.. much bad. ) , Sketchy af ssd- no spec no name without dram & ancient controller. Id prefer a hdd to this.

Im using this as a NAS for cameras, video AI, and home automation. I added a second hard drive for the NAS functionality and a graphics card for the AI, and the machine has been a rock solid performer for my needs. If you need a small server with a small footprint or simple budget desktop, this is a good value. Mine came with a keyboard, mouse and power cable. Since Im using it as a server I didnt use the keyboard or mouse so I have no comment on their quality.

This was a great purchase. Needed a new desktop for an employee. Shipped faster than the original notification stated. Came with a keyboard!

The power cord was DOA but I have a spare The WIFI adapter caused the system to crash repeatedly but it works much better on ethernet Even on ethernet the computer still crashes so I will send it back for a refund

I love this item, it is fast and ready to go with quickness. From the time i hit the start button i am logged in and running into my work space in a matter of 20 seconds. I am fortunate to be able to work from home in this pandemic but i needed something that can handle my daily multi tasking needs. I have to use dual monitors for work so this meets my needs. I have connected up to three monitors and it works flawlessly. Currently using dual monitors because i ran out of table space but i am glad i have the option to use a third. I have attached pictures if it helps.

The tower looks as good as new. Opened and all the components look new with no signs of ever being used. It arrived shrink wrapped in an original box.

Computer is good overall had no issues so far with it.

Advertised at 256GB but only has 238GB.
