Monitors kept going black for a few seconds every 3 minutes. I even bought a new docking station and new cables because I thought that the brand new monitors could not be that defective… I tried an old monitor I had and it worked perfectly… don’t buy these monitors!!! Plus had to incur in packaging costs to send them back because of course I was not expecting to have to return them so I did not keep the original boxes.. so annoying!!!

Screen resolution: Very good, but slightly dimmer than Id prefer. With that said, I tend to prefer a brighter screen than most. Refresh rate: Its sufficient for remote work. Unless youre trying to game during your work day ;-), you should be good to go. Camera function: Its ok, but if youre taking selfies, just use your phone. Webcam feature: Good. I come across to others crystal clear and without lag. Speakers: Very good for a monitor. Treble and bass are quite clear, and vibrant. Mic: Everyone has told me my voice comes across very clear. Overall: 4 stars

I wanted a monitor with built-in speakers and a webcam. The speakers have about half the volume that is adequate. Watching a movie, if someone is talking in a normal voice you have to really concentrate to hear them. Very disappointing. I have several TVs that are about the same thickness and the speakers in them are many times louder. The webcam is not much better. The webcam can be pushed into the top of the frame for privacy. However, it often will not easily pop up when needed. The picture quality is absolutely awful. If you are wanting a webcam for a rare occasion you might need one, then this will get you by. If you plan on using it often, you are way better off buying a cheap cam that mounts on top. The monitor itself is nice. The stand is sturdy and well-made. I just wish they would have spent fifteen more cents for better speakers and cam.

This product was built for the post-pandemic, work from home world that we now live in. It’s a 24” 1080p monitor with a built-in 5 megapixel webcam that supports Windows Hello facial recognition for easily logging into your Windows laptop. The design of the monitor is modern looking with small bezels on the top and sides, with a slightly larger chin on the bottom. It can raise/lower, tilt, and pivot with the included stand, but it supports being mounted to a VESA 100x100 mount, as well. The IPS panel looks good with full 99% coverage of sRGB colorspace and 250 nits of brightness. Maximum refresh rate is 75Hz, which is normal for a non-gaming monitor (this wasn’t designed for that, but it would be ok for casual gaming). There are no HDR video capabilities here, this is just a standard monitor for basic home/work uses and it’s not intended for media consumption, not primarily. The picture quality is good though and I enjoyed watching Netflix videos on it while I was testing it. I recommend leaving it on the standard color profile, I found the other modes to be inaccurate and made the colors look off to my eyes. There are 2x5W speakers on board and they sound OK, not amazing. Almost any monitor will sound worse than a $30-$50 pair of speakers you can buy. It’s fine though if you don’t want to invest in that and just need this to plug your laptop into for work and a little play. This monitor plus a mouse and keyboard, combined with your laptop, you basically have a nice desktop setup for when you need it. This monitor has 1x DisplayPort 1.2 port and 1x HDMI 1.4 port, yes these are older standards but it’s all you need for 1080p@75Hz. Fortunately, there is USB C connectivity here too, which adds significant value to this sub-$300 monitor. It supports 3.2 Gen 1 data transfer speeds and has a built-in USB hub. There are 2x USB A ports (also 5 Gigabit/second speed 3.2 Gen 1). This allows you to plug a keyboard and mouse into the monitor, and they will work with any USB C laptop that you connect to the monitor, so you don’t have to break out adapters or dongles to use external accessories. The monitor supports 65 watt USB Power Delivery, this is enough to charge my 13” MacBook Pro at full speed. One of the USB A ports has 10 watt (B.C. 1.2) charging as well, in case you connect something that needs more than the average amount of power to work properly. The 5 megapixel webcam looks better quality than what is on my MacBook Pro to my eyes. The microphones sound clear and pick up my voice well, but don’t sound as good as what’s built-in to my laptop. They should be fine though for Zoom, FaceTime, or things like that. If you really care about how you look and sound, it might be worth getting a small ring light and a dedicated USB microphone, depending on how important it is that you look and sound your best. If you work requires you to work from home and you do a lot of voice calls, if you need a new monitor then this one would be great for that. Most monitors don’t have webcams built-in and this one has a good one and the price is affordable for what you are getting. Pros+ Good quality IPS panel with full sRGB color USB C connectivity with 65 watt Power Delivery Built-in USB A hub DisplayPort and HDMI Good quality webcam that hides away easily IR camera for Windows Hello facial recognition Premium looking stand with full range of motion (swivel, tilt, can be raised or lowered, 90 degree rotation to the left or right) Cons- No HDR or wide color

I am so frustrated that I recently bought this monitor and it no longer working. Dell does not support it because the warranty is only one year long . This is a very short life for a monitor at this price. When I replace it, I will not be purchasing a Dell product again!!

My only issue is it comes with a cord that has USB-C connection and my computer only has USB ports so I need to get an adapter.

I purchased this to replace using my laptop screen for Teams meetings. I have another monitor but the microphone and camera are on my laptop so Ive always used that. But as I am an older person, the laptop screen is just too small and when someone is sharing their screen, I can barely see it. This monitor is amazing! Took me a bit to figure out what I had available for ports (i.e. USB-C on my laptop is taken up by my docking station) but ended up with HDMI - HDMI and then USB-A to USB-C on the monitor. Works fantastic. Ive closed the lid to my laptop and the monitor sits right on top. I did a test call with a co-worker and the sound is clear (and louder than the laptop) and she said the microphone works great.
